I'm laughing at how pathetic you are, how intensely you want to get into an argument over something that is essentially subjective and really doesn't matter in your day-to-day life (I assume).

But to answer your 'challenge', obviously the whole youth system production debate is seen through rose tinted spectacles and is a matter of opinion (for example, only an idiot would label a player with representative honours as 'mediocre'). Personally I would assess Bradford's development system as having produced more international class players over the 15 years of Super League. Over the licensing period, I would suggest that Castleford have produced more international class players, with two home-grown players getting international honours last season (Shenton and Westerman), with a third (Lynch) who should have been down under but for injury and a fourth (Owen) who would have been knocking on the door had it not been for breaking his leg in the first few rounds of 2010.

With two players in the England academy side that just smashed the Aussies (captain Adam Milner and Jordan Thompson) who have started to establish themselves in the first team at Cas, plus a number of other homegrown players expected to become first team regulars at Cas in 2011, the future looks bright and, after a number of years of mismanagement in the early part of the 2000s, the traditionally good Castleford production line is back on track.

As for Bradford's current youth production system, I don't know, but trust you can offer an honest assessment.

Never said Shenton or Elima wernt good players. Yeah, yours isnt very good at all. A 2/4 of very good players is all youve managed in 15 years, which is pretty darn shocking. The rest of your list are journey men and mediocre squad fillers. In comparison ours have produced a steady record of full internationals, multiple medal winners, GB Captains, men of steel and beyond.

Just go for it, lets see what you come up with. Personally I think youre holding back because you wont like what you see.

Dont insult me buddy, I aint doing it to you.

That isnt the challenge, I asked somebody to name a 17 man homegrown Cas team and then I could compare it to a 17 man HG Bulls team from the same period of about 15 years.

Your points of Bradford producing more international players has been duly noted and lends considerable weight to my argument that Bradford have consistently produced better quality players than Castleford since the empahasis of producing HG players a priority in the game.

As for international class recently, Shenton sure. But Westerman? Youre not having that one pal, he played in a exhibition game against Cumbria. And Lynch and Owen never made it down under so thats only 1, not 4 mate. As for Bradford developed players in the squad down under, there was Burgess, Atkins & Fielden who all made it there this time around. So again, the numbers side of my argument is still in my favour here pal.

Bradford also had 2 academy players in the England academy fixture and a third that wasnt selected(G Burgess, O Brian & Southernwood) With the latter 2 expected to get games time and kick on this season.

What would you like to know about Bradfords youth production system. We had 16 HG players in our 1st team squad last season, I dont know how many we'll have this year as it hasnt been released yet, I would imagine it would be a high number as always though.

At the end of the day, the chap that claimed that Bulls dont have a youth system like Cas is wrong IMO. Bulls have a youth system that exceeds anything Cas have managed. The evidence for that is very clear.

Your presence on this forum is insulting my intelligence in me feeling the need to respond to you.

And please don't refer to me as 'buddy' or 'mate', I've wasted way too much of my time already trying to engage in sensible discussion with someone who is so obviously an imbecile. My response was to discuss the relative merits of youth production at Bradford and Castleford in a way that could be assessed sensibly rather than a hand-picked, rose-tinted assessment of a group of names. I don't care whose is better, I'm only concerned with clubs who do produce good quality English talent, not who produces more, and your constant measuring contest is utterly pathetic.

Sorry buddy.

Whats not sensible about facts and truth?

Bradford have produced more and a better quality of HG players so therefore have a youth policy like and better than Cas, not the other way around as Baz Tiger thinks.

I was just debating and backing up my claims with solid evidence. Simples.

There is a difference between subjectivity and fact. This entire topic is subjective. That is fact.

I tried to discuss both systems honestly from what I knew about Castleford and perceived about Bradford. You decided to not just ignore the points I was making but deride them in some bizarre notion that I was challenging your point rather than just discussing the subject. This isn't about winning and losing, it's about discussing the subject, which is what a healthy forum is about. We have enough 'my dad is bigger than your dad' conversation on here as it is with Wakefield fans and the new stadium, we don't need Bradford fans bitter that their club is now a consistent lower table team on here giving it all that about some other area that Castleford are actually very strong in.

No it is not subjective, it is fact.

Bradford have produced more HG talent than Cas - Fact
Bradford have produced better HG talent than Cas - Fact

If you disagree, then prove otherwise, because I can sure as hell name a lot more Bradford produced players from the past 15 years, and I can sure as hell name a more high quality Bradford players than what Castleford have produced.

If you provide a time frame, I'm more than happy to help you get together a list of homegrown Cas players who have played first team. This information is available for you to get yourself on rlCastigers.netrl.

We can then compare it to the number of homegrown Bradford players who have played first team in the same period. That will determine a fact as to the number of homegrown players each club has produced within a given time frame.

As for 'better' homegrown talent. That is 100% subjective, but a sensible way of judging 'better' would be representative honours. For example, Castleford had two homegrown players gain England caps in the 2010 season, how many did Bradford have?

Answering questions like these is a good way of ascertaining facts. Saying "Westerman is mediocre" is a way of acting subjectively. I think by looking at facts and figures you may be able to prove your point, but your refusal to even bother and just demeaning the facts that confirm Castleford have produced international class players just makes you look like a pathetic troll rather than a Rugby League fan interested in discussion and debate.
