No ones mentioned high tackles.

| Very lucky indeed. I expected at the very least a 1 match ban.

| Whilst I think his tackle was stupid, I do think the RFL have probably made the correct decision. It was silly but nothing more.

Silly but nothing more? He could have broken his neck? Would that have just been silly too? Ryan McGoldrick is an absolute thug. He's not even a decent player. I can't think of one reason why anyone would think Ryan McGoldrick brings anything to Super League. He's a disgrace.

There are tackles every week that could break someone's neck. I don't think the intent was him for his to land on his head, rather his belly.
But of course, you're going to see it differently. As for what he brings to SL, well, I don't expect Wakey fans to look out for the good stuff.

I don't see any good stuff from McGoldrick. I see it from Chase, but not from McGoldrick. I just hope when Chase has his Visa revoked, someone realises McGoldrick isn't much better and gets the boot as well.

| How do you know Chase will get his visa 'revoked'; in fact he won't - it'll be decided when he applies for a new one.
In fact, although this is on his record, I don't think it'll count against him. By the time his current contract is up in 2013, he'll have been in the country five years without any other incident (fingers crossed!), is well respected amongst his peers, has demonstrated his commitment to sorting out his issues and has proved his worth on the field. I think they'll let him renew it on the basis

Not happening until his current one runs out at the very least, his current one runs alongside his NEW contract, so he's here until hmm...2015 and by that time he could well be a British citizen.

And there's that as well.
He has a spotless record through his time in the UK and is a very respected person in the community and his efforts with the local children has been noted and commended - the border agency also KNEW about this crime that happened in 2008 - the year before he signed for Cas.

I am not a big fan of this putting it on report, there is only McGoldrick knows whether the challenge was clumsy or whether he intended to hurt Hendo, if Silverwood thought it was serious enough to put it on report then it was serious enough to either yellow or red card him that way at least we would have been compensated for the loss of a player had he not been able to resume playing, with putting him on report all that does is assuming he had got a ban for it is give they're next opponents an advantage and does nothing for the club he committed the offence against, so personally this is one Wakey fan that wont be imploding alfred.

45047_1329226743.jpg The saying 'bent as a 9 bob note' has now been dropped.....corrected phrase is 'bent as the RFL!':d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_45047.jpg |

| I am suprised that not one of the many neck high contacts by Wakey has been reviewed by the RFL. Richard Owens neck is an inch longer now from the amount of Wakey players that took the opportunity to swing on it.
Goldies Tackle wasn't pretty, and I wouldn't want to see it every game....however at close range 'belly to belly' these things happen.
