Not at all but for people to call him a w**** is totally out of order when he had the game of his life vs Widnes (and not just against Widnes may I add) stayed with us in the Championship and showed real loyalty to us and then we call him a w**, unbelievable.

If you can get any player off his game by a chant then they are fair game.

If I met him off the pitch then its different, while he is playing he is trying to take 2 points away from my boys!



Loyalty.......hmmm where did he go to?

He stayed with us when other teams wanted him, granted he went at the end of the season but for no other reason than he didn't know whether he'd be playing SL rugby the year after and he needed to support his family.



I wouldn't chant it but people who do chant it to put him off his game then fair play, but people who chant it and mean it I think they need to have a look at what Danny Brough did for this club when times were hard.

It should all be about affecting the game, take Johnny Heitinga of my soccer team and his brush with Ashley Cole just before the penalty...put him off a bit

You obviously have the short memory,do the names,Guttenbiel,Higgins,McGoldrick,Wainwright,Westerman,Dixon,Williams,Thackery,Henderson,Huby,Charles,Donlan,Lupton,etc,etc,etc,mean anything at all to you,without these players laying the platform for him,he wouldn't have had half the influence he did,I think the phrase "single handedly" may upset just a few of these people,as for Brough,he had the chance to stay and deciced to bail out,you are the one with the misguided loyalty.

Id say that Guttenbiel had more of an impact on the game that got us promoted, Broughy was awesome but personally for me Gottenbiel was a different class

Danny Brough scored 324 points for us in our promotion year, if you think we could have got promoted without them points then you are very wrong. The players did have input on us getting promoted and probably Thackery the most (apart from Brough) but without Danny we wouldn't have gone up, without that cutting edge we wouldn't have got promoted, without all those 40-20's we wouldn't have got promoted, without those SL quality kicks we wouldn't have got promoted, without that SL playmaker at HB we wouldn't have got promoted...see where I'm going with this?

Players that are legends, yes.

Danny Brough is no legend, he is a decent player that did well for us, to say we wouldnt of got promoted without him is a stupid statement, and for your information I have watched the game many times and if you think Danny could of had the game he had withough Guttenbeil and others having the quality games they had then you seriously know nothing about the game!



Guttenbeil was a different class, Brough had a good game!
