| Can't help thinking it's a bit harsh on Paul Franze.
My vote on the worst would go to Craig Greenhill as he arrived with a lot of expectation and a big reputation, "played" significantly more games and was paid significantly more money.
Davis and Shenton both good shouts for the best.

Knuckles? Newlove?
Miffy, though, manages an honourable mention in both categories, imo

Something like that...that team is horrible to even look at, if they ever played together it would be a disaster

| Worst 3 - In order
1 Rudder
2 Korkidas
3 Newlove
I alway hoped Rudder would turn out like Graeme Bradley did, awful but the quality shone through in the end, but it never got close. Korki had a bad start and as he is a confidence player just got worse. Maybe its harsh on Newlove, he was too old and was well past his best, but in terms of value for money he was desperate.
Best 3 - In order
1 Nutley
2 Vowles
3 Shenton
Surprised Danny Nutley not got more of a rap. He ran his blood to water in vain in 06. Don't share the raps on Danny Brough tho. Sure he ran riot in the NL, but was very erratic in SL and his tantrums cost us a game or two. At times I got totally furious with him. Vowles made a reasonable team into a very good one and Shenton is one of far too few Cas players who does nothing spectacularly, but all the basics very well indeed.

| Damien Gibson? Danny Ward? Jonny Hepworth? Have you been watching the same players as me? And Clayton has been OK when called upon.
