I wonder if he will get you lot up for games against us next season?

you never know do you, but you have to admit you are letting the best coach you have had for years go just because he couldnt turn a team full of donkeys into race horses.

He's the best coach we've had in my lifetime, and if it was my call he would still be here next season. He's over achieved this year with a squad of players who should never be playing Super League, let alone winning games. But, because we beat a couple of decent sides, the expectations seemed to jump and now he's going. The wrong decision in my opinion.

| Quote: imwakefieldtillidie "Tonight really showed how bad Wakefield are. So bad you needed 2 forward passes and a blind touch judge to scrape the 2 points in a game we had nothing to play for. I'm sure the most reasonable fans will admit that the best team lost tonight. Anyway, I'm still glad Castleford got their license as it's still one of my favourite games of the season.'"
The referee was equally bad for both sides. I can count a number of times Wakefield held Cas down and got away with head high tackles/forward passes themselves.
We did get the decision on Owen granted and perhaps one forward pass from a try but other than that there was nothing overly major.
As for being the better side, I disagree. We did have 3/4 tries disallowed for various reasons and we did seem to play the more expansive rugby. I think we played the better rugby and perhaps shaded it.

Yet you call Cas fans "Dick brains" on the Wakefield forum.

| Have any Wakey players found that dummy Widders gave 'em last night yet ?
Wakey were winning 30-28. Not defending that play cost Wakey the game.

Can't quite remember off the top of my head, hence why I put it.
There was Youngquests x 2, Mathers and probably one more that I've forgotten - either way, the scoreline could have been much worse for Wakey.

Who's rattled your cage? I already responded to your other thread about Ryan Mc with my comments on his tackle. In your opinion, we should have been down to 12. It was silly but not worth a red card - I've seen it happen before.
Rangi isn't going anywhere, as much as you lot over the common, those in Leeds, Hull and also the media seem to want to stir up.
As for Mathers, he was clearly upset because there was so much riding on the result and we were behind. He knew we needed to score and so was disappointed. I'm quite pleased by his reaction because it shows he cares and wants us to do well. It was a foot forward and I'm sure he'll realise that after watching the tape.

Aye probably it's just you cannot remember as you say the scoreline could have been worse, it could also have been better had the linesman seen Owen's foot in touch before he fell onto semi's arm and if Silverwood had noticed that the cas player must have knocked on when he reefed the ball out of our full back's hands, but he didn't and cas scored from both incidents its the same sort of stuff you are moaning about really, but a win is a win and you should just accept it as that, what should have happened or did not happen is academic you won and deservedly so, what's your problem?

We did. After all, foul play takes precedence and the two things happend within a second or so of eachother. It was a bad shot by Tadulala and deserved a penalty, despite that idiot Clarke saying "He fell into him!" Tadulala's swinging, stiff arm (denoted by the clenched fist) suggested otherwise.
