Wakeys cup final end of, I for one would be sad to see wakey go but wakey games dont mean that much to me there not a patch on games against Leeds or in the old days Fev! means a lot to them though.

Sorry to disappoint Baztiger but to most of us Wakey fans, the Cas game is not the biggy or the one we really wanna win. We would much prefer to roll Leeds or Huddersfield over than you lot - trust me !

As for the weekend.........Cas 48 Wakey 10

Can see guys rolling us over big time. You have a very strong squad this year and should be looking for top 6.

We on the other hand have already conceded that the wooden spoon has our name on it although hopefully after this weekend things should become a lot clearer regarding our future. If things pan out in our favour then our fortunes could also take a big turn forthe positive !

Either way it should be an eventful year.

Our biggest attendances the last 2 seasons has been, none other then Wakey at home.

Anything to do with the fact our games against Leeds have been on T.V? Go back the last time we weren't on TV against Leeds and it was near enough a sell out, something like 11,500

hear what you're saying. But if I had the choice who I'd like to see us beat this season, it would be Wakey. Still we've pulled in top crowds for the wakefield fixture compared to any other side we've played in the league...

Can see where you're coming from even if it's only because of what has happened in the last couple of years, with the old timers though ask them and it's Leeds everytime. The pure passion and anger that you see when we play Leeds away is unbeatable for me...

Honestly think it will be a lot closer game than people expect, I'm going to go for 26-16...

Always nervous this time of year but Wakeys predicament means they have nothing to lose and that usually mean bad things for Cas!!!!

Sorry lads - have to disagree. You ask most Wakey fans who they would rather beat in SL and the majority will tell you Leeds and certainly Huddersfield !

Dont get me wrong - its great getting one over your nearest rivals but there are bigger battles elsewhere. The crowds you mention will reflect the fact that Wakey/Cas is the sort of game which brings closest supporters out. Family members, mates, husbands/wives etc will come out for this game as we are so close. I always stand with the Cas fans at the Jungle as my best mate is a Tiger and he stands with us at Belle Vue. Win, lose or draw we get on the ale and make a day of it ! Just the way it should be.

As for Saturday, like I said (and it pains me to say it ) we dont have a prayer of getting near to you nevermind pulling off a win. We are struggling big time and to be honest activities which are happening off the park at the moment has got the fans attention more than whats happening on it - and no doubt the players too. The best thing for us to have a new owner in place by Friday or Saturday this week and then we can look to build and hopefully bring in some better players mid-way through the season. But as for the first 2/3 months I fear we are in for some hammerings

wakey make me laugh.there still bragging .poor team poor ground and in debt.yet they still think there better than any one else.we should teach them a lesson on the pitch once and for all .if they go down they will get the shock of there lives .its not as easy as when we went down and came straight back up.cas to win on saturday 30 /16.come on the fords.
