Both BoDs can hold there head in shame they have let us down too many failed promises, like everyone else i feel for both sets of fans another sad day for the greatest RL development area in the UK'"
A merger yes but I don't mind a ground share.
When all this is sorted and we do have to share a ground I think all those that buy season tickets or even better a season card should have entry if they want it to both teams if you don't go to away games.

Do we condem them to a future of nl1 poor standard of RL or do we seize this obstlcle and turn it into a chance to forge a super club? one that in the years to come the supporters of tommorow will be proud of or do we dig our outdated sentimental heels in just because thats what we always have done !!'"
Sorry mate but it scares me to see that some people can even contemplate killing off our club for the Superleague silver.
I have seen a few Fev games this year and tbh sometimes they looked a lot better than our shower 6 or 7 games ago, the standard in the championship aint that bad.
Merger......... I feel sick

| We know the score now. No more bull required the council will now decide where the ground will be, simple as.
I just hope they don't drag this out too long, then we all know where we stand (or sit).

| There is so much contradictory information going around that continues to raise question on who or what source can be trusted.
I could have sworn that I'd heard or read that the WDC were not going to put any money in the Cas stadium....now on the Cas website they'd promised £2m if we'd got our act together !!!
However, looking at things in a simple way..... if either club has ever been sincere to it's fans about their claim to be able to meet the financial challenge alone as asingle club. With a now potential combined effort there should be some money to spare....should there not ?
For crying out loud......will both clubs please get on with it, before it's too late. The RFL would love to replace both of our teams and we are giving them every opportunity to do exactly that. Get your acts together!!!!!

I would hate nothing more than to see my beloved Castleford Tigers become a feeder club, I want no part of that. A joint venture on the staduim is fine/realastic. To sell the soul of the club I have watched since god was a lad? Can't put a price on that as it is not a deal I would welcome.

That's ok if thats what you want, and lets say 50 / 50 of the fans agree and the same disagree and walk, what does that give the merged club, the same as we have now,
I for one would never watch a fabricated team with no purpose than to satify the prats at Red Hall and the two monkeys on sky. I have supported Castleford from going as a young kid with my dad and still today (muffled numbers of years spoken quietly) I wont change and whats more i dont want to change, They can shove it as far up their ar$es as they can get it . As for the ground, the land at Newmarket is greenbelt, they wont get permission to take away above 200 acres of land. It has to go to the secretary of state if the council decides to give outline planning, They have no option because it goes away from the departure plan. This will take a minimum of 12 months from any permission. It will be too late

Disagree as the kids who will support the club when us old boys are no more will not have the sentiment for the old club that we have ( Again look at West Tigers / St George Illawarra )
Agree that i feel the Nm project is a non starter as Leeds City council alone have scuppered that plan and Central Gov will see land available 4 Miles away thats not green belt why would they have a bun fight over NM
Quote: Speedy "What about the people who want to watch Castleford Tigers in Super League?'" This is still my pref option i would love both clubs get a ground , Its just im not opposed to Plan b or C if thats what it takes

| Surely if both clubs are sharing the 1 stadium then why the need to offer 2 licences, surely there is only the need to give out the 1 licence. I hate the licencing system but it would seem to make no sence to me to dish out 2 licences to clubs playing out of the same stadium
