| Quote: tigerman1+1 "The decision was that he lost control of the ball as it crossed the line, 6'' nearer and it was a certain try just another 50/50 like the cats first try in my eyes it was a double movement his ball carrying arm hit the floor then left the floor to then ground the ball, my mate watching says he thought it was a try interpretation of the rules i suppose......but the damage is done another lost game. another poor performance dumb rugby dont ya love it well i know TM does cos he seems to drill it into them everyweek'"
A 50/50 maybe, so was the possible obstruction in the 2nd half that went the way of Cas. Another 50/50 was the Catalans try disallowed under the post, you won't moan about these because you have them rose tinted glasses on. As for the Catalans alleged double movement, read the rule book he went over in one complete motion. Not at any occasion did he raise his arm to project the ball over the line.
Since when did your mate sat at home become an authority on the game. I think you belive what you want to belive.
You lost because the best team won, accept it and move on.

Congratulations you hide it well. perhaps its the same reason that if we lose i know that quite alot of wakey and leeds fans will be on here, wheras if we win they are notable by there absence. And the sort of people that go trolling on there local rivals boards have no objectivity when it come to discussing there local rivals, so there opinions are worthless.

Total rubbish you have no objectivity when it come to looking past you own team!! That's the problem here mate not Leeds or wakey fans trolling, but cas fans calling for the refs head or saying there is an rfl conspiricy against your club not to make the 8! Get a grip cas fans!! If you wanna blame owt blame you shocking defence as Catalan dropped the ball twice with a clear run to the line, had a BOTD try not given and had a try disallowed for a forward pass. So if cats had a bit more luck they would have 4 more trys!

| Myself and a few mates watched the game at my house, all wanting the team from Yorkshire to win, but the way the fans turned on the ref, who incidently had one of his better games was terrible, I thought Cas fans were better than that, 1, high tackles were coming from both sides, 2, Chase screwed up, 3, Owen lost control of the ball, 4 It wasn't a double movement for Cats try, 5, Best team won...............move on!

Chase was tagged on the back by Clayton so I can only presume in the heat of the moment Chase thought he had been tackled by a Catalans player!! Understandable in the heat of the moment

| The reaction to Mr Smith isn't just about yesterdays performance. It's been building up for a couple of years now. His consistency in the 50/50 decisions he gives against Cas is quite something. I've not seen anything like it since the Connolly twins

Look you f***in tool at no point have i even remotely said the best team lost. i have moved on i am not even moaning about the loss read my post on the first page infact i'll save you the trouble..
''Ian smith like it or not made no bad decisions, ok some were pedantic but all were correct at that moment in time and to the letter of the law.....
i hate to admit defeat but once again cas were second best YET AGAIN''
do you have to get up really early to be the moron you are, or AGAIN are you so bored and unsatisfied on your own pathetic site that you have to come on here for some stimulation infact id say you’ll go blind with all the stimulation you and you waky mates do on here. its a shame the londonscholorbroncoquins didn’t f***in stuff you just to keep your smug 5h*t face off this site you bell end......oh and for the record ask Marshman I am far from having rose tinted glasses on. and my mate is an official RFL ref been on the course and to the letter of the law he is right I am wrong. but like any game we have seen these decisions go either way because the final decision is made by a human. look at the MM Leeds V Bradford game.....

| sgt bilko, what a numpty. you have very short memory as always. tv game v leeds, burrows scores try from more like a treble movement than a double movement, webb collects ball over try line and drops to the ground, voluntary tackle as blatant as you are likely to see, kirk dixon taken out in mid air, ablett throws him self to the ground at play the ball, my oh my. tv game v warrington morley does blatant trip, nothing said or done, that was only one of many things that warrington got away with, then on tv again last night, lots of dubious goings on, and they say things even out, i dont think so.

| Quote: sgtwilko "For the owen no try which was a correct call owen lost control of the ball before the line! And for the try you thought was a double movement, mcgoldrick pulled the player over the line as he tried to get under the ball! Pelo's movement never halted and he didnt make a second movement with the ball carrying hand to score the try, it was a lunge with his body which alllowed and is not what double movement is about, the second movment has to come from the arm and pelo didn't make one. So no double movement. HTH'"
I'm still unconvinced by Pelo's try, but that's life and decisions go against you. Just have to live with it.
