Seriously a quality bloke and I would like to think the legacy of some of the things that happened in his era in charge will continue - All the best in whatever he does, all the best to him and his family.

Agreed..like the players, he looked totally spent and the relish with which he later announced he was going back to Oz was therefore understandable/excusable. Speaking of his post match interview on SKY did he inadvertantly let his traditionally corporate mask slip when he alluded to the lack of facilities at the club or was it a parting shot along the lines of "if/when you judge my achievement bear in mind I've had one hand tied behind my back"

In any event, for the sake of his health, family and career I'm glad he's leaving at this point and he can rightly claim the club his better for his presence over the past six years. I hope he thinks he is better for the time spent here....I doubt he will face any sterner challenges and strongly suspect he will really come good in a less financially constrained environment.

None of us doubt the sincerity of TM's statement about available resources and facilities at Cas.

I guess we will never know, however much depends on how the Cas job and these factors, were sold to TM. Perhaps he was promised a full SL support system and facilities would be available to back up his efforts (Which never materialised)....or maybe he was told....take a look around because this is what you've got available to work with. I guess we may never know.

In year 1, it will be very much the same for IM I suspect. Let's face it in 2012, are Cas going to suddenly pull out masses of additional resources and facilities for IM to work with either? Until the new stadium is complete, perhaps that's just the way it is at Cas!

I don't think, passions aside anyone underestimates the constraints we operate under and regardless of who's fault or any magic wands people think should be waved to fix it; Given any of these criteria looking at where we started from after relagation.
If you had offered us and Terry probably back on his sign-on day: 2 successful franchise applications, at the end of the 2011 season being pipped to the 8 on the last day, a CC semi, mixing it up and the summit for a 3rd of the season and playing the number of local and english players we have this year at the ages they are, I would have taken it there and then.

So, we stayed loyal to Terry when things weren't going well, he stayed loyal to us when other people enquired about him - in my world one of the highest accolades you can bestow on someone is to call them a propper bloke - Terry Matterson is a proper bloke.
