I'm more worried about how we'll show up on the telly. If last Friday is anything to go by our lads are ready for their hols and the marketing implications of a very public defeat by our basement dwelling neighbours would be horrendous.

My sentiments exactly!!! There is not a team in the league that we would have beaten with Friday's attitude and effort at Leeds....including the likes of Wakey! We were proper shocking!!

However, as we know tomorrows game is a must win game for pride and points!! For our last 2 games, I'm not massively optimistic about taking points from either Hull team and with the -ve goal differences we could esily be displaced from the top 8.

As per any sport, success is about the position you cross the finishing line....not how quick the runner was out of the blocks.

So c'mon Cas....you've got to nail some points tomorrow!!

Our biggest 'game' of the season was some bloke reading team names out on Sky last month.

I'm not going because I'd arranged to go out round York on Saturday night before I found out that Sky had ruined what would've been a good Sunday afternoon's hangover cure.

Awful game for both clubs, could be great for the neutral.

Cas have nothing to win and everything to lose essentially. Can Kear work his one off game magic? Can either team be controlled enough to play the game not the occasion?

I don't care about Wakey or any of these petty squabbles, I am only a Cas supporter, so if we play well and positively and give a good account of ourselves, couldn't care less what this means for the area, Glover, Wakey blah blah blah - talk is cheap it is about 80 minutes on Saturday.

but according to Wakefield fans, all we do is cause trouble, so surely its better for all Cas fans to stay away ensuring there is no trouble that can be said to be Cas fans fault.

I have been to both grounds on many occassions and let me remind you of some facts to you as a neutral.

Stadiums............................very similar in conditions, and atmosphere, and pitches, Cas may edge it Just but thats my view !
Corporate Hospitality........... Wakefield have larger capacity and facilities than Cas who have a 'small room' up stairs
and on this basis they will bring in considerably more hospitality revenue than castleford.

Academy............................. Wakefield have had more success in recent times than Castleford. Two - One
Crowds............................... Super League avarages are very close this year but just edging it are castleford.
a major factor in this though is castleford have spent all the time at the top and in the top
half of the table and wakefield at the bottom, would the extra couple of hundred be the difference
if wakefield had not gone into admin and lost half the team ??? Two All (just)
Crowd Issues....................... castlefords problems in relation to incidents have been highlighted in the public domain

In my book the clubs are pretty even mate and for you to be spouting that Wakey should not be in SL mate when apparently they had a stronger bid than you did is laughable. Why would you as a fan want to lose your derby games and the atmosphere with Wakefield ?
