Arundel played the full 80 minutes and was not out of his depth, he did all that was asked of him. Sargent also had more game time than he has done for weeks and Higgins played for 30minutes non stop in the first half which is a big ask for a prop in that heat, he also did has fair share in the second half.
This was actually a good win for Cas after a hard game on Tuesday, they were always going to tire somewhat, but i think they were a little complacent at the start of the 2nd half and paid the penalty. Bring on the Bulls next week and lets make it a hat-trick of wins.

There were two bad teams today. Salford were just marginally worse.

You did, but your first try was it, we didn't even attempt to tackle you, and the Widders one where he broke through and Talau didn't even run after him, we just let him go in for a try, was pretty weird aswell how when we missed a kick they gave it, we kicked it they didn't give it and again we missed and got the 2 points.

Just looking at the highlights on SLTV, we actually looked pretty solid. A couple of the Salford tries were a bit worrying when Ferres was done for pace on the blind side (although he isnt a so it could be worse) and the chip over the top where hudson had no pace what so ever!

What's worrying is that we're playing Ferres at centre when he can't tackle. Leaks too many points. If we have to play someone out of position, play Widders there. Or even better move McGoldrick to his natural position.

Only Matterson would play a second row at centre, when we have a decent available centre on the books. Pure madness.
