| We just seem to have completely forgot our gameplan and steel from pre-season.
First few games we seemed to be working for each other and had a resilient steel about us. Now we seem to be content turning over the ball easily, not building pressure and our defence leaves a lot to be desired.

Perhaps because we fixed all our health and safety issues in the off-season with our sponsors playing an integral part in that.
As a result, Wakefield Council have given us a glowing report and are using us as an example of how to do things.
Just smacking of bitterness here.

Fans are gonna be turned away and it's not gonna look good for them.'"
Turns out that they couldn't get a capacity crowd regardless of the limitations. Capacity 5,333 crowd 5195.

"Stand by me as I stand by you, be brave and dare to dream".: |
|
| Admittedly I only has a limited view, but there looked to be more than 5,500 in the ground to me. How many spectators doesn't the eastern terrace hold?

39793_1491679334.jpg "Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"
"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

| That crowd today would have been announced as over 7000 last season with previous incumbents in charge.
Even with just over 5000 in, the view from the western terrace is a joke.

The ones integral to crowd numbers. All the barriers, floodlights, asbestos etc etc. All the licences were renewed.

| We weren't great today by any means. But I'm happy we won a derby game away from home, rarely as easy thing. Thought clare did well at full back, Clark huby and millo once again stand outs for me. Glad we showed some composure in taking the DG which then gave us a license to shove the boot in the final ten. Gotta be a whole lot better Monday. I'm sure most cas fans if offered a 23 point win today would've took it.

You'll get no sympathy on this board Snowie, off you go back to your own board where everyone loves you.
As far as your clubs concerned you find yourselves in a position following many years of total mismanagement on and off the pitch. As the saying goes, you live by the sword you die by the sword.
Fingers crossed that the Bulls appeal is successful.

People like you don't know whats best for your own team. Wakefield and Cas benefit from each other. There is banter between the two clubs but there are people like you.
Well done yesterday Huby and Clarke your stand out players, when they went off we started to get on the front foot. Carney didn't seem to much throughout the first half but in the second when we were applying the pressure he stood up and took a couple of good strong drives in a set of six that got you down the field.

| Millington was immense yesterday followed by Huby, Clark and Lynch for me. James Clare caught the eye also with some very good metres.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day out yesterday. Cats bar from about 12.30, match and then onto the Kings Arms on Heath Common for some real ale till about 7ish. Great chatting to the real Wakey aswell.

| Highly enjoyable game. Great to watch a match in the sunshine amongst a good crowd - if that was only 5100 then the crowds of the last few years derby games have been overstated by about 3000!
Anyone thinking we'd hammer Wakey in what is always a tough derby game was seriously kidding themselves. I'd have taken a 20pt winning margin if offered it before the game.
Roll on Warrington...
