Thankfully it appears they watched the same game I did, as opposed to the imaginary one in which the whole world is against Cas once again.

| Most Wakey fans wanted you to win. Because we saw you (unfortunately), beaten and recognise that Cas were a little lacking on the day, we are bitter and jealous????
Jeez! Get your heads out of your butts.

| Quote: Junglefever "Not at all db. Just found it strange that a ref left the pitch with all the players still on and emotions running high, anything could have happened and he wouldn't of had a clue!
Mind you he'd probably seen the bottle(s) thrown from the Leeds end which the physio went and picked up!
The bottle thrown was actually Rob Burrow`s boot which some Cas player threw into the stand !!!

31007_1580947500.jpg EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg |

| Didn't think it was a high tackle, his hand scraped across the top of the chest, but because he was going the opposite way to Maguire, it pulled Maguire back. I can see why it looked like a high tackle with no chance to look at a replay. Tough call for the ref.
If he hadn't given that, there would have been a penalty for something, because of the break. Holding down or not square or offside.
Enjoyed the game. Was cheering for Cas.

41106.jpg You come at the king - You better not miss.
It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?:41106.jpg |

| Quote: Gronk! "Yep, I mean things like a penalty in golden point for a tackle around the shoulders, Watkins dropping his knees on Chase and Jones scoring a try that was given as short (Leeds pulled him back after he grounded it) were all Bentham favouring Cas
That "try" that Jones scored would be the one where he imediately got up and played the ball without even appealing for a try would it? Usually a reasonable indicator that the player was short
Oh and Rangi dived on a ball that Watkins was chasing (good defensive play) - Watkins had no way of avoiding the subsequent collision.
As for McGoldrick - it was a crap attempted tackle after being wrong footed. Not the best way to end an exciting match but at any other point in a game a non controversial penalty (BTW - did you see a single Cas player complain? I didn't again usually a reasonable indicator that the decision is correct)

Totally different game in the final son, it'll be close. Chase should have landed the pressure better with the drop goal attempt, but in the end it was the ice Man Sinfield who showed him how to handle it and that is what semis and finals are all about.

Leeds knocked on and Cas picked the ball up when he gave the penalty.

| I'm pretty sure had Mags not just being blind sided by an arm around his face he'd have more than likely kept control of the ball

| I can't really complain about the penalty on Mcguire by Mcgoldrick, however that sad excuse of a referee missed head high shots by both sides in the regulation 80 minutes.

| I'm always reluctant to blame referees when we've lost - they do a tough job and I don't believe they intentionally favour one team over the other. However its that old chestnut consistency that frustates us fans.
I often listen to surrounding fans calling the ref after he's given a decision against Cas and think to myself 'he actually got that right' but there were a number of occasions yesterday when I thought - must admit I didn't see owt wrong with that, after Bentham had given a penalty to Leeds. But I'll accept that at some points it was happening 100 yds away from where I was sat and so the ref probably had a better view of it than me.
However, there seemed to be a few of those 50/50 calls where he could have awarded Cas penalties but he opted not to - that was the frustrating thing.
That said, when it happens in the heat of the moment and you only see it once I accept you can misinterpret things so I'm gonna break the habit of a lifetime and re-watch on tv a game that we lost just to see if I was mistaken in my opinions.

For example,Burrow tackled and lifted, horizontal at worst, infact the tacklers "placed" him on the ground, result, penalty Leeds.McGoldrick, tackled, lifted and subsequently dumped on his head, result, play on,conclusion,if the Burrow one was a penalty, please explain to me how the McGoldrick one wasn't.
