That wasn't obstruction. The man had already gone through and your man was already committed, hence try given.

NO OBSTRUCTION, cant go to screen for forward pass,
see thread on VT fans from various clubs saying Watts try never was,

I know full well that they can't go to the VR for a forward pass, but I'd like to think a ref would consult with his assistant, who had obviously seen it, before passing the decision to the VR.
A bit like Silverwood picked up on the black and whites forward pass at the last televised derby game, you'll remember that won't you.

the derby game between us is IRRELEVANT,
what matters is not the fact that Cas got beat the fact they got "done" by an atrocious video ref decision. END OF

Just food for thought. In normal play, if a man looses control of the ball in a forward direction....yet recovered it just as it hit the ground...that's a knock on isn't it?? Perhaps in the field of play is different from the try scoring area....who knows??
Plenty of positives there Cas, plenty of season ahead yet! C'mon Cas!!!

No seems by the letter of the law, all of them are correct, like (both teams) should have been penalised far more for offisde & holding down. Or in one case, Bentham telling a Hull KR player to "watch those knees" in the tackle when again, by the laws of the game use of the knees is a penalty and card not a warning on the run.

Yes it would be a knock on in open play, and by the rules of the game is still a knock on in the in goal area because losing possession and then touching the ball with the side of your hand at the SAME TIME it hits the floor, is a knock on. |
