Could Hull FC field a team made up of just ex-Cas and Hull KR players?

Are Hull running two sides in SL next year??
Either half of them are on the minimum wage or they've smashed the back doors of their salary cap!!!

They will be able to manage a 5 a side football team but that's not really all that significant is it

Well for next year they have contracted:

Arundel
Lynch
Westerman
Watts

They have already confirmed there will be no renewal for Aspinwall, Manu has joined Saints and it is in the balance whether or not McGoldrick will be retained.

From Hull KR they have Watts who was is already on the list from Cas and then Galea that unless any of their fringe first team / academy players played for KR is it.

Maybe you could count Andy Hay? Chase even?

Gareth Ellis is a Cas lad isn't he?

McGoldrick will get another year.

Doubt Ryan Mc will get another year in all honesty.

reminds me of the late 70's early 80's when we stripped Fev and Cas of all their good players and became the top side in RL

They'd already come more unstuck 2 years earlier against rank outsiders Fev ...now that was payback and the only time I've rejoiced in a cappers victory. A year after the 85 classic the other codheads were turned over by underdogs Cas led by John Joyner, the one player FC had failed to steal from us. Nowadays, to coin their song, they might have Adam Pearson but (as history suggests) they still wont always get who/what they want.
