Fwiw I asked Fully if the funding was in place not about Cas's financial state of affairs which like Wakey's is well documented and has no particular interest to me neither is it any of my business hth, but dont let that get in the way of you causing more trouble than you are actually worth and derailing another thread.

Well said. We usually ask Halifax fans or vastman for detailed financial insights into our club anyway. |

Whether you have the best or the worst ground in SL is irellevent to Wakey, what does matter though is that we both get a new ground, in spite of the local rivalry which really is no different to anywhere else Wakey and Cas need each other for the financial support given from both sets of fans. As boring as it might be I would sooner have Cas at home an extra 4 times than Cats, CC, Quins and Salford if only for the revenue, and I am sure its the same with Cas. |

So Cas's financial situation has no bearing on if they can go ahead with a ground  the funding and Castlefords financial state of affairs are all intertwined, lets face it would we look at going ahead with a plan of this magnitude if we were 3 million pounds in debt........ your not a city banker are you  , but as for your sincere words wanting our Stadium to be completed thank you. cant wait to hear about your update, wont be long now  |

Speaking as an outsider two new stadiums in one conurbation seems unlikely. I doubt it would or should happen.
Why is ground sharing out of the question ?
Times have moved on and surely this is the best way forward for all concerned ?

It would only seem less likely if we were relying on council funding, but neither stadium is.
Ground sharing is out of the question as it would kill at least one of the clubs and damage the sport forever, which understandably we dont want to happen. |

To answer your question for the 17,000th time, it's about location. Cas fans don't want a stadium outside of Castleford and Wakefield fans don't want a stadium that's in Castleford, despite it still officially being part of the Wakefield District. |

Can we just block the board on that day? The amount of crap we'll get from Sandal Wild Cat, Jinjer and the rest of the unfathomably anti-Cas brigade as they explode with excitement will put off those of us who actually want Wakey to get their ground from feeling happy for the mature Wakey fans and the Wakefield club in general

What I find funny now is how much time Sandal Wild Cat has been coming on here spouting off about full planning permission and TRB has just posted saying that they'll be submitting for outline planning permission initially. Now even we know how long that takes to come back from Wakey Council, I can't see them being in a position to apply for full planning permission until March/April next year - same time as us.

To be honest with you I doubt you would get much trolling if it wasnt for the likes of tigerman 1+1 what seems to have difficulty in conversing with rival fans without hurling the usual insults and abuse, tbf I think its born out of frustration I'm sure he knows what he wants to say but has difficulty putting it into words. Other than that its just the usual banter from both sides  sorry I forgot about swc

What you have to accept is Castlefords plans and area of building is far more of an attractive prospect, and the sooner your club says ok we'll ground share at J32 to save our skins the better for both clubs, you will be welcomed renters giving us a stable income for a few years atleast and it will be really nice to see you sat in all those black and amber seats......
