I think it is the proposal to close Knottingley Sports Centre, Pontefract, Castleford and other 5 towns swimming pools due to high maintenance costs. Replacing with one new fitness/sports/swimming facilty at Pontefract Park or Prince of Wales site or Glasshoughton and a new pool at Minsthorpe

I thought this land went through the PI when LCC was pushing it as an alternative for NM. I also thought it had already been allocated for development therefore it would be unlikely to go to a PI, especially with the fat man favouring local issues being decided by local authorities, and let's be honest Box ain't going to knock this back.

You're correct Khlav, it did along with the other site at Flass Lane IIRC Newmarket was deemed to be the more suitable of the 3 for the community stadium for Trin
