| I would have Jimmy Watson from Rhinos on my books by now. I feel Leeds want him for cover for Zak but the reality is he is not going to get game time unless Zak breaks something or has an affair with Charnley.
Come on Cas get him on board start him on the wing then push him to full back. This guy scored five tries against Hull FC 20s this year; no mean feat at any level.
If this Aussie Vickery signs it will be even harder so strike now before some other team does. Watson was also player of the year last year and is training full time.
Sunley is not ready yet still three years away.

30462.jpg [b:3oz7jfnu]Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane told BBC Radio Manchester:
"Some people within the club [Castleford] have come out with comments saying we're beatable and it's a great game for them and they're very confident.
Many of the comments I've heard have been bordering on disrespectful.
They can be as confident as they want, but they're going to get a tough game this weekend and we'll be trying our best to make sure they don't get that win.
We've played in some big games over these last few years and they've not played in as many, if any, so to be that confident is very risky for them.
They come here with confidence because they've scored a lot of points and beaten us at home, but I wouldn't be overconfident if I was them."

I'm not a fan of the Whino's but they certainly know how to produce junior talent and promote it throughout their system and into their first team squad too
They currently have two outstanding young full backs on their books that aren't likely to get a look in due to Hardaker and they are called Jimmy Watson and Josh Sunley, they are both pretty raw but both could make it in SL without a doubt IMO
I would take both players now and that would still leave plenty of change for other signings'"
Looks like we both know our junior talent pal

How many more times does it have to be said, "and the money for more players comes from where?" We have been told that until the remaining "fans" back the club and sign up for a membership we are skint. Even young players want paying you know.

Richie has now offered a public apology for his Christmas brawl
www1.skysports.com/rugby-league/ ... tmas-brawl
I personally hope that he now knuckles down and repays the faith shown by the club and it's fans
On a side note,if any of us did this self same act out on a public street would we get away as leniently?
If it had been my son that Owen had punched, then i would have been awaiting sentence for probably the same actions and thus rendering Owen not fit for action any time soon

| How has he got off leniently, he has been fined, given community service, and fined by the club, you make it out as if Owen just punched the lad with no provocation, all the people who got arrested for fighting went to Cort and got fined, punches were flying both ways, , its something i don't condone but it was two groups of people fighting not just Owen, thats why they all have been found guilty

| Went to Leeds v Wakey yesterday. I thought Millward treated Mathers badly, but seeing him yesterday maybe he had the right idea getting shut of him. He appears to like shouting the odds at others but to me he does not want to put his body on the line himself, might spoil his good looks or mess his hair up !

Let me think, yes he did play well against you lot down the lane. Playing well for us, Wakey fans happy with him, dont forget it was not a league game mate on boxing day

39793_1491679334.jpg "Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"
"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

Minor fail!
Nice to see you inspect the Cas board before your own, otherwise you could have commented on the Mathers thread that Whino fan Marathonman started on there.
Happy Christmas BTW !
