Meet me in the car park Fully - I'll loan you my gold umbrella.
It's red, white and blue, with a massive WTW logo - is that ok?

Not from Castleford pal. It was more in reference to the daft "city is ours" advert.

| Gold umbrella?! Should have said golf.
For the sake of inter-club harmony, I can live with the Cas stickers; it will be enough for me to know that in my own small way, I've extended an olive branch to another member of the RL family.
I genuinely hope any bitterness about the decision to segregate is gone by Friday - would be awesome if both sets of fans pack the place out and sing each other into submission; a proper rugby league derby in a proper rugby league ground - we'll miss it when it's gone.

| Could backfire on wakey this. Upset the fans and they stay away, simples.
I dont do caravan park anymore, they do nothing for away support.
Clubs treat you poorly, they dont get your hard earned cash.

What a fuss over nothing. As you can see there is no segregation as you can go behind the posts. You are just being asked to enter via Doncaster Rd. If you bring 5000 fans then I'm sure you'll take over most of the north stand. It's just a crowd management mechanism anticipating the likelihood that more Wakefield fans than usual will want to "go north". Enjoy the game, but hopefully not the result

| Can't blame Wakey for trying this, as I feel the home support has always had a disadvantage where crowd volume is concerned at BV compared to other home teams (ourselves included). Now they have a chance to make themselves heard and IMO its long overdue.
However, antagonising away fans 2 days before a derby game that is sure to be a sell out probably isn't the best idea. I have no issues where I stand, but would rather mix with the Wakey fans as we have always done than be segregated away from them. Banter between fans is part of our game.
I can understand they want to try and minimise the trouble that would no doubt ensue after people have been out on an all day bender due to the bank holiday, however, I think they may cause a them and us culture especially if there are stewards in a line down the middle. It only takes one idiot to shout/throw something before it all kicks off.
What are they going to do if the majority of the Wakey fans don't bother to stand in the North Terrace because they've always stood elsewhere? allow us to go there?
How are they going to determine who is supporting who if you don't wear the colours?

| Seems a bit childish to be honest. There never should be any segregation at rugby league, that's what makes our sport special.

That being said, with the tickets saying general standing, I don't think Wakefield can prevent us from moving elsewhere should we so wish as long as it's not to cause trouble.'"
Does your ticket say general standing? Usually says ground admission. What does your fev ticket say? because you can only stand on a certain terrace for that Match too. Shut up moaning like a set of old women and stand where your told and enjoy the game

My argument is that WT were quite happy to take my money and let me stand where I wanted, which for me has always been behind the sticks for 30+ years and sometimes more than once a year. Stick a tin shed roof on it and all of a sudden I'm not allowed behind the sticks.
Anyway thats all irrelevant now because we can stand in the North Stand and I will be behind the sticks thank you very much.

No you can't n/e corner and east stand terrace read the map if you don't like it get your ticket refunded. By all accounts you've not sold many anyway and will struggle to fill the eastern terrace

| Of course they can stand behind the sticks, assuming there's room when they get there. Trying to police a North Korean border post a third of the way down the terrace is never going to happen. They're just going to fill up from that side after entering through Donny Road. The number and proportions of fans will determine the natural 'border' as most Cas fans will want to stand together. The general proportions will be roughly known from ticket sales hence the guestimate on the graphic. AFAIK there was a migration of Wakey fans to the North against Catalans, so we expect similar numbers there this week. I'm sure this is all mountains and mole-hills.
