This myth about administration not counting is driving me crazy! As far as I am aware (and I will be gladly proven wrong) the only change to the administration ruling was that it meant you could still apply for a license instead of being automatically disqualified. A vast number of wakey fans seem to have been brainwashed over this...like someone else said Mr Elston alluded to administration being an issue in an interview after it was confirmed Wakefield had a license.

Tonight really showed how bad Wakefield are. So bad you needed 2 forward passes and a blind touch judge to scrape the 2 points in a game we had nothing to play for. I'm sure the most reasonable fans will admit that the best team lost tonight. Anyway, I'm still glad Castleford got their license as it's still one of my favourite games of the season.

Not that i agree with all of what you've written as we were hard done by on several important decisions tonight but i do agree, the cas vs wakey derby would have been a big loss.

Apart from the the opener at Cardiff, every game between us this season has been a classic. We'd nothing to play for tonight, the coach is going, a lot of the players are going, yet we still pulled out that performance against a team who are much better on paper. The RFL need to forget about expansion and get the focus on the heartland clubs.
