| Well it would affect the game and it's hard to see Wire playing the same open, offloading style they used v Quins if the pitch is covered in snow or mud after snow.

| I think its highly unlikely that we'll see much snow this weekend, certainly not enough to cause disruption to the game. The forecasts I've seen don't seem to suggest we've got any blizzards due.

| To be honest (not arrogance) but if the conditions are bad that would suit Wire more than Cas

| I don't think, given both our histories of comparative inconsistency, that either set of fans could accurately predict what might happen on Saturday.
I've seen Warrington sides start on fire on season day 1 only to get mullered the next time out. No complacency from me but really really looking forward to it either way.

Agreed. It's a tough one to call. We both won the away fixture last year, but we've recently been a bit of a bogey team for you at our place - you were the only side we put 50+ points on in 2006; and the only side we put 40+ points on at home in 2008.
I think the biggest consistency of Cas and Warrington is that we're both notoriously inconsistent and following a good opening weekend for both, anything could happen on Saturday. Should be a cracking game.

Let's not forget it's not long since Cas beat Harlequins 48-0 on their own patch. Granted it was the back end of last season but there've been few changes to the Cas squad since. Despite how much Warrington have improved in recently, I don't think the result is the foregone conclusion you seem to think it is.

Yes, and a Harlequins side missing Ben Jones-Bishop, Rob Purdham, Luke Dorn, Karl Temata, Jon Wells and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook obviously provides the litmus test for any title contenders

| Why do a lot of Warrington fans think they're home and dry? It's horribly arrogant.

Ditto for Warrington, as for the stadium it should be built around 2012 with two sides, two ends missing but to be added at a later date apparently
so everything is rosey and were all looking forward to the future
