was mcgoldrick a kolpack player under the old system or full quota. That the bit thats causing the confusion. Old style kolpak players who were playing in SL before feb 07 become federation trained players when they sign their next contract ( either with their current club or with a new one) and no longer count on overseas quota. Old style full quota players will remain full quota irrespective of how long they've been over here. Original wording of RFL release about players coming off quota suggested it applied to both kolpak and quota players which has since been clarified. |
