| You bring up the salary cap and Wigan fans tell us to stop living in the past and now they're at it.
I'm worried about getting stuck in traffic on the way there on Friday. 37 coaches are leaving Wheldon Road early on in the morning and then coming back for the rest.

Numbers were poor, even for a friday night.
Didnt make any noise, any noise they did make was aimed at the Wigan fans.
My mate saw Cas fans making trouble outside the ground.

The Wigan RLFC Song
(by Jeff O'Toole)
Happy and I'm smiling,
Walk a mile to drink your water.
You know Id love to love you,
And above you there's no other.
Well go walking out
While others shout of war's disaster.
Oh, we won't give in,
Lets go living in the past.
Once I used to join in
Every boy and girl was my friend.
Now there's revolution, but they don't know
What they're fighting.
Let us close out eyes;
Outside their lives go on much faster.
Oh, we wont give in,
Well keep living in the past.
-edit-
Sorry, it's by Jethro Tull

Numbers will always be poor on a Friday night in winter especially from a club that doesn't travel away in very large numbers.
Cas's away support particularly in SL over the last few years is not what it was, probably due to the clubs poor form and low expectations of getting a value for money performance.
Some Cas fans thought your clubs cheating was responsible for us spending the 2007 season in NL1 and put a possible SL franchise spot in jeopardy, so some bad feeling and animosity was always going to be on the cards.
They'd have been better served letting it lie or at least aiming it towards that shyster Maurice Lindsay rather than Wigan fans as a whole, but as I say, feeling we're running high.
It's yesterdays news now and I think most Cas fans have moved on, Mo's gone and Cas got a franchise.

Only 4th place for the self-proclaimed greatest club in the world?
You won the same amount of silverware as the team that finshed bottom and that makes you as crap as us.

I was just defending the fact that Wigan had been called rubbish.
Getting to 3 semi-finals in 2 years is not rubbish.
Your final comment is laughable. We won more games than you, and lost less. We did better head to head.
Yet somehow Wigan and Castleford are on a par.

Don't insult us from your paltry 12th place in the table.

24084.jpg Disco - Expansion of the game is a good thing, undoubtedly, but in the main what people simply want to assert is that you don't kill the roots to spread the tree.
The Curtism - The battles are fought on the field and the friends are made in the bar. There's no hatred among real men.

You know, you're right. We're not on a par at all.
10 Castleford 1 0 0 1 8 12 0
11 Warrington 1 0 0 1 14 26 0
12 Wigan 2 0 0 2 16 30 0
So come the end of 80 minutes this Friday, we'll be 2 points clear with a healthy +70 points difference and a game in hand too.

Nobody remembers who got 4th place or to the semi final, they only remember trophy winners and Wigan won as many as Cas last year.
OK I'll accept your not as crap as Cas, just a bit crap.

| How can any Wigan fan believe what they write when they say Wigan are a good side, and better than Cas? If it Weren't for the fact there are fourteen teams in this division this season instead of twelve you'd be in a much worse position. When Catalan win their game in hand Wigan will be 13th and that will be where they will stay for the rest of this season, just ahead of a side that was only formed about a week ago in a Welsh WMC. TBH, i've seen glimpses of Celtic that show they can certainly push Wigan close this season. Think yourself lucky you got a franchise and can now build on it. Try and invest in some youth and bring through some players and maybe one day you can have as many local kids playing for your side as Harlequins and Catalan are doing, they're showing you the way forward. Maybe then you can compete with the likes of Wakey, Cas and Hudds week in week out.
Good luck on friday, hope it's a good game and we don't just run away with it, knocking up a cricket score. That's no good for SL and will do your club no good in the long run. Keep supporting your team and maybe you can get through these tough times!
