| Quote: nottinghamtiger "Huddersfield have just given Robinson another deal. Both he and Brough are specialist scrum halves so can't see both of them in the same team, I heard Brough had very high demands.
Hull KR are also said to be interested but again they have Dobson who is very much a 7, couldn't see them playing together either.
I've also been told Brough is going to Warrington but after paying £200k for Myler to play 7 I can't see that either!I think it's a case of wild speculation, probably put around by his agent to get him a good deal wherever he goes next, or even to stay at Wakefield. It has to be said that most 'top' teams have a scrum half signed for 2011 and it wouldn't surprise me to see him stay where he is for another year or two.'"
Robbo is most effective when playing like a 9. Lacks the skillset for a top 7. So you could have someone - Brough / Finch ?- at 7 and play Robbo as the interchange 9 with Lunt.

As i recall we couldnt sign him because he hadnt played enough senior games in aus, then a few days later the ruling was changed to include his games in france just before wigan signed him. Call me a cynic but i always thought the two may have been linked.

46042.jpg [quote="Bonzo":23qz4bj5]Corrected.
Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.
HTH.

i seem to recall there was a problem with breaking the NL1 cap limit or something like that but it was overlooked to stop your clib whining and bringing the game into disrepute, i do recall fans from other NL1 clubs complaining at the time

| No.
We received a warning letter for a technical breach regarding the documentation. I don't honestly know whether that was forgetting to put a stamp on a letter or something slightly more serious. But it wasn't a breach of the cap and it wasn't cheating.
Cheating is spending £200,000 mote than the cap signing players you can't afford, trying to hide it by getting some players to agree to delay receiving their 2006 wages until 2007. And when you get caught cheating, you get hauled infront of a panel at Red Hall and, despit spending a fortune on lawyers to argue that the previous year's penalties should apply, you get docked points - not a letter telling you to improve your paperwork.
Wigan fans pointing to our 2007 brush with the cap commissioner to excuse their club's wholesale and deliberate cheating in 2006 is like the Guinness fraudsters or Robert Maxwell pointing out that someone was once a day late in paying their TV licence, so we shouldn't criticise their multimillion pound thefts.

funny how the RFL then gave us £245,000 (i think it was) back off the cap for the next season because secretly they knew we never cheated, it is done all the time down under, you lot are just bitter that you got relegated due ti the fact you where , and in fact if you had had the same funds available you would have done everything in your power to stay so jog on

| They didn't, idiot - money that was spent in 2006 was spent in 2006, obviously they didn't count it as spent in 2007: that was simply your attempted accounting sleight of hand trick, which didn't work
