How did the referee perform??

Bad. Didnt seem to like us at all. Its a good job the ginger linesman was on our side.

The linesman didn't dare give anything against Normy in the second half!

Did that kick go over for Lock Lane in the first half? It looked to sneak over from where we were stood (and according to one linesman!) but I trust the fans behind the sticks (every bit as much as the ref.)

Normy beat Stanningly 16-12 with a try in the last minute.

The ref was against us again.. they kept obstructing and crossing and got away with it - yet he pulled us up when we didnt even cross!

Nigel Taylor was the ref, from Leeds I think. Did you see him talking to all the Stanningley supporters before the game.

We had 4 main players missing though, no goal kicker no hooker to speak of and 2 very good forwards missing. Still a wins a win, we will have to grinde results out like that during the course of the season.

Still 8 from 8, big test is next week Millom away.
