It certainly is. Just glad he led us out at Wembley last year. A great man indeed.

| Does this mean its almost a done deal?
As an aside the BBC says the new stadium capacity is 10k. Is that really big enough?

It is to start with. Lets not forget that the initial cost to us is very minimal, if not zero, as it is being funded by Lateral, the developer. The main priority is getting it built. The option to fill the corners in at a later date will enable us to do so in the future to increase capacity, funds permitting. One step at a time. I, for one, would prefer a 10,000 capacity full every home game than to be sat in a half empty 'football stadium' with no atmosphere, ie: Huddersfield. Also, the option of being able to use / hire out the facilities 52 weeks of the year for corporate events etc.. will bring in much more needed revenue

| Excellent news. Should be some good crowds at the Jungle next year too as people will want to have last chance to go to what is probably my favourte ground. Will miss it, only ground left that reminds me of Knowsley Road, proper atmosphere there.

| Well done to all who have made this possible.
When completed, which M62 junction do us visiting fans leave to get to the ground?
Looking forward to it.
Once again, well done to all.

Well, Cas are averaging around 7k a season. So a 10k capacity suits them fine at the moment.
I'd assume there'd be plans regarding increasing the capacity should it be needed in the future, plus there's the bonus that the club will be able to encourage fans to go for season tickets to ensure they guarantee themselves a place in the ground.

| It's only really when Leeds come that we get over 10k and since Sky seem to have it as a Thursday night game we haven't been getting that over recent seasons.

| We've had a couple over 10K this season - Wakey 10728 (Sunday) and Leeds 11235 (Friday on Sky).
10K would be about right for starters. If we needed to expand we would do similar to Warrington with the corners.

No - Steve Gill has lent them to his mate Mick Carter to ease the costs of repairs at Belle vue.

Is lent the operative word here, because if we use them how will you get them back, bearing in mind the cost of each brick we could not possibly afford to replace them.
