| 16 points down in 13 minutes. thats an anihilation. but 67 minutes were contested. I thought we put up a good account for ourselves to say we have come up against the superleague favourites. Only gunna get harder over the next 4 or 5 weeks though as we cant keep that up against arguably all top 8 teams. maybe top 6.

| It reads as though whoever wrote that article wasn't at the game. We've all done it, read up other reports and then mixed up a summary with liberal amount of BS. Sure, Cas started cold but at no point were we 'annihilated'. The use of that word suggests no heart, no determination and no resilience.
I guess RLFans' robot reporter is no less susceptible to fawning on the favourites as any of the real world scribes.

| 2 of their tries in first half should not have been given for starters so the final score should have been 28.24
Obviously the germ i mean reporter who wrote the article is a Warrington fan. The ref was a joke no mention of that though what a biased report shame on u rl forum.

| What about the 2 trys we had disallowed for forward passes which were never forward also the ref did everything possible to let cas back in the game in the second half

The reality is that the game was won inside 20 minutes and the intensity tailed off.
The game would never have finished 28-24 in a million years.

| The try from the Grix break came from a blatant elbow in the run up which made a defender fall off Grix.
The try from the kick into the corner Evans was offside from the fumble.
Then there were these 2:
#15 with one of the worst tackling attempts I've ever seen.
Carney MILES out of position giving the winger a walk in.

Or was it that Cas had a half-time rollicking and increased their intensity, to which Warrington couldn't match and Cas made a game of it? In 2012, Cas going 28-0 down after 22 mins would of resulted in a 60+ drubbing. I, for one, was pleased to see a bit of fight in the 2nd half and if we continue to play like that we'll win more games than we lose in 2013.

| Without sounding like the typical Wire fan, it was men against boys for the first 15 minutes. Hill and Morley were making meters at will. Cas never got going until after the points were in the bag. If I was a Cas fan I would be disappointed with the amount of time Rangi Chase passed the ball to no one in the first half, you had 3 clear cut scoring opportunities and the ball went behind Webster and infront of Tansey too the ground. If they stick it's a different conversation at half time.
You look a lot more balanced with Webster and Shenton, but need to muscle up in the opening exchanges. I would have started Millington personally.

| The only two Wire tries I'd question were the knock-on by Carvell (see the pic in the photos of the game) and Myler's double movement. I thought we got penalised out the game too and decisions were not given for both sides. I've lost count of the amount of time a Wire player had his arm around the head/neck of the Tigers' player only to get away with it.
Despite that, Warrington were rampant in the first 20 minutes and they were extremely good with ball in hand. If they can deliver that consistently for 80 minutes they'll walk all over a lot of teams. In the same vein, however, not many sides will go to the Halliwell Jones and score 24 points so kudos to Cas for not throwing in the towel. Ordinarily, that would have resulted in a large hammering so we did well to remain in it.
Cas upped their game in the second half and showed some tenacity in defence and determination. For the Wire fans seemingly being very derogatory in a way towards Cas, implying that Wire took their foot off the gas, with all due respect that is poppycock. Or can you not remember the 4/5 sets on our line where you had penalty after penalty and couldn't break through? We finished the game the stronger and Wire looked knackered towards the end. They knew they had been in a game for 65 minutes. Just the first 25 minutes made the scoreline look like a convincing victory - that was the case for that timeframe but for not the latter stage of the game.
