| Not for the first time I thought the Cas fans showed complete ignorance ... the ref had a good game, the Cas fans simply couldn't understand the CORRECT decision regarding Chase's play the ball when he hadn't even been tackled. But what made me laugh loudest, was when Cats scored a try from a kick over the top ... the Cas fans went mental claiming he was offside and boo-ed and all that stuff ... the video replay showed he was ON SIDE ... but the Cas fans continued to boo and question Smith's parentage! Jeez, the words "thick", "pig", "as" and "plop" sping to mind.

Them 2 were correct, but how about the countless high tackled missed? or no sin binning for persistant high tackling?
Cas were poor, Catalan were poor, so was the ref - crap match all in all.

| I think the fans are just getting frustrated with the number of close games that we've lost. We've lost about 5 games by about 2 points this season at home, and the refs have always given one or two decision that cost us.
I've never seen Cas fans so angry.

| I did get to the game today, if i was there i'd have be booing myself in the heat the the moment and shouting cheat, like ya do, but watching it on TV shows Smith didnt do that much wrong apart from let countless head shots go, but he no game changing decition went agaisnt us, When Chase was down he was clearliy shouting "play on", yeah it was harsh, but was dealt with by the letter of the law. Only ourselfs to blame again, another lose again at home and again by 2 points, Can we make the play offs? your guess is as good as mine

Agree entirely, smith should've punished cats fro the persistant high tackles, but must've left his cards at home tonight, overall we got what we deserved

| Re the Chase incident.
Catalans knocked on and chase re-gathered ... no advantage was gained by Cas ... so by right the correct decision was a scrum ... ...... Chase clearly thought he was tackled so played the ball.... the correct way to deal with the confusion was to call no advantage and form a scrum
unfortunatley for us it was one of those days where the right decision got lost in the heat of the moment and Smith got it wrong and awarded a penalty... cats subsequantly went up the field to score what turned out to be the winning try (dosen't that always happen ???).
Overall I think what incensed the crowd was the way all decisions relating to Cas try's were refered to the video ref and some of the cats try's were not, even though there was clearly something to have a look at.
All in all I thought it was a poor game played by two teams who should be at the lower end of the table....... and are ..... says it all for me.

| I was stood in the corner where they scored there first try and the touch judge cleart told the ref that he thought it was a couple movement. Smith just gave the try anyway.
They were not onside all night dont even think smith was bothering to go back 10 metres and the cats players were still in front of him.
High tackles all night and the only time they were punished was when the touch judges came on to tell him.
A knock on from the scrum late on in the 2nd half that smith said it came off his foot. How many times have you seen a scrum half take the ball out of the scrum with his foot.
Every 50/50 and most 60/40 decision went there way tonight. We didnt play well tonight but if we had been given a fair crack of the wip we were good enough to beat them.
Its been the same all season but tonight it was blatent.

IIRC it wasn't even a knock on. Just a poor pass. In any case, Chase had the opportunity to play the advantage, but he didn't, he played the ball.

| said after the warrington game that thaler let all sorts go in their favour, and the game tonight was very similar. it appears to me that we are doing well away from home, so when we are at home we are getting penalised for it and getting humiliated. they are making it harder for us to finish in the top eight and tonight was the prime example. the last time i saw such anger towards a referee was i think, one of the connolly brothers. like a lot more i do not like to see objects thrown on to the field but the referee did not help matters, and its about time the players stopped getting the flak, it is they that are towing their bag out and getting kicked in the teeth, so imagine how they feel, its bad enough for us stood watching and getting annoyed. it hurts me to think and say it but the game is bent at times. i have never walked away from a game, but with 15 minutes left tonight i very nearly did, because i could sense that it was not us what was going to win again, like i said the players are trying like hell under the circumstances but are copping for it unfairly from crap officiating.

So what your saying is that there is a conspiracy with the rugby League hierarchy and the referees. The agenda is for Cas to not make the top 8, do I have that right?

| not too long ago old lad against you in the cup, we lost it ourselves so the referee was not to blame, but there comes a time or times when they are to blame so why should we not speak out, the rfl would love that if we all kept quiet, but its not good enough im afraid.
