| Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Has anyone actually read all the information on this, all this does is secures Odsal for the Bulls to continue playing there in the forseeable future, it does NOT guarantee super league status !!!

you seem to be taking your anger out on me,that castleford are not getting a new ground
and you cannot say fair play to the bullls for securing a good deal, bet if cas had done the same deal you would be very different on here today

Or perhaps Bradford and Keighley? The RFL seems to have everything tied up nicely on the grounds front and at least Keighley are heading in the right direction!!

So am I and a few thousand others, means nothing unless you know someone who is involved in negotiations , well?
As far as the Odsal deal goes , Bradford have said it will help secure their future , for me that means they were in deep financial trouble , I dont believe the rubbish about preserving evocative stadia, the RFL have been pushing heartland SL clubs out of their evocative stadia for years in the name of the Franchise system, so its the the most incredulous, hypocritical statement I've heard in years - even by RFL standards
One thing the franchise system has done - its created a much deeper rivalry to the point of hatred between fans of clubs like Cas and Wakey who find ourselves outside in the cold without any financial help or sympathy from the RFL , while Lewis and Woods continue to waste millions on failed expansionist 'projects'
its worse than FIFA

| It seems to be the concensus on other forums that this "deal" has had to be brought about to keep the Bulls afloat.
If true and the RFL were aware of the impending implosion at Odslum, what did they know or were kept in the dark about in July?

| kingcobra can you see anything other than groundshare with wakie or one of you go.
the bulls are/were not in deep financial problems, one of only a very few clubs that were not actually in debt, now the stupid iestyn harris saga is over
i totally agree it is a very strange thing for the RFL to do, i certainly think there is another agenda by them, but will not put the bulls at risk, and if the RFL spend a bit of money on odsal everyones a winner

You see, this is where you give yourself away to be someone who knows nothing about the situation.
Can you explain how the completion of one independently funded project has any influence on the completion of the other?

Your eyesight must be horrendous.

Wakefield, as a club, are not funding the stadium at all, thought that was also pretty obvious
