If u mean play, yes but never at SL level. Was a Wakey Academy player for years but never made the step up. For me he never stood out even at Academy level though I thought he did OK at Donny.

Honest opinion, not SL standard but then few British players are.

He did just fine for his first game of SL.
Will get better as he plays more games.

Good, could be a late developer. The last thing I would do is criticise Cas for giving an English player a chance.

Although I never saw a great deal in him that doesn't mean there isn't a player hidden. Some times just the club that suits and a coach who connects is all it takes. We have a team full of them.

the fact is 'vastman', you simply don't post on any board (including your own) when your team isn't winning, then are full of opinions when you've had a positive result. not going to trade insults cos, frankly, anyone can do that sitting at home.
Anyway.. Thought Wood loooked tidy and at this stage of his career would be a useful back-up at 6, 7 or 9 for a lower-table super league club.

I believe Wood's best position is at hooker, he is quick out of dummy half.

True I have had a six week break which happened to coincide with a losing streak. So what. It's a big world out there where things happen and people have bigger issues than RL. Illness, financial issues, family problems, unemployment, death etc etc. Now could I have been dealing with one of those? It could happen
