| So glad he is alright - heart in my mouth for a while. Bad to see convicts celebrating though when he was down and out - shows a lack of respect!!

Missed that. If I recall it was the Australian players who were calling for attention before anyone else.

Me too, I thought the fact that five or six Aussie players raced to the scene before any England players knew what had happened says a lot about the professionalism.

| I know it probably wouldn't have made a difference but once he went off that side suddenly had a lot of holes for the Aussies to run through.

I never ever rated shenton, spent all series saying he shouldn't be anywhere near an international. After he went off I was shown just how farnoff the mark I was. That side leaked points after he went off, so fair play to him.

42181_1527427546.jpg "I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."
An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| Shenny is as good as centre in the game. People won't rate him because he plays for Cas. In the series we generally haven't moved the ball left, so him and Ryan Hall have barely been seen as an attacking threat. Hall is class going forward but has areas to work on in defence. Shenny for me is up with the best in defence, and is quality going forward but for club and country needs to see more ball. Was gutted for him being took off via the stretcher earlier with him being an LUFC fan. Made some class contributions in defence tonight too. I'm not a media reporter by I'm 99% sure I know and can contribute more then the idiotic media in this country about RL.

| Well as a cas fan must say that once shenton went off I was sat in Elland Road unable to think about the game all my thoughts were on shenny. Once he went off the Aussies targeted his side which they didn't do in the game at wigan or in this game until he left the field, so they obviously rate his defence.
So well done Shenny you did us proud. Also well done to the England team the score did not reflect the game.

| I also had images of Joe being carried off flashing before my eyes, thank God it wasn't as serious as it could have been. Thought Michael had a great game and it wasn't a coincidence England's demise coincided with his departure.
I'm so proud of his performances!
Well done Michael, what a pity your 4 nations had to end on a stretcher, you certainly deserved better I would go as far as to say you deserved to be on the winning side.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| Michael Shenton was excellent last night and in the 4 Nations in general.
Look forward to him having a long international career at centre. We could do with a couple more! Maybe Richard Owen will make the step up next year?
