To me the toughness was lacking from the start, if not the effort. Cas players should have steamed in when Scruton flattened O'Brien, whether ultimately it is proved late or not. It would have focussed attention on the tackle much more & given a message to the Bulls players about the consequences.

The physicality of the Cas performance has certainly gone up a few notches this year - we need a bit more flair in attack. When Chase is back we will be a different team to the one we saw last night.

For 60 mins thought we played as well as we did against Leeds. Undoubtedly missed Rangi as any team would but we were beaten in the forwards and that's where Millward needs to concentrate his efforts for improvement.

Still way better than last yrs shambles n a couple of flattering late tries shouldn't have us losing sight of that.

Fitness is miles better this season. I see no reason to question that.

The reason we were walking back is we've come off an intense game against Leeds and made some costly errors in our own half that led to us defending our own line a lot. Without the ball, you get knackered.

Wrong. Without the Man of Steel 2011 / our best player, with our dreadful record at Odsal, plus Bradford are a decent team, I had minimal optimism for yesterday. Didn't stop me going & supporting my team but deep down I expected a defeat.
