| Well that sounded pretty poor to be honest. I thought we would of done better against a side low on confidence and who had 10 players playing their second game in four days.
We seemed to put a lot of pressure on their line in the second half but couldn't convert it in to points. And sounds like everytime they had the ball we gave a silly penatly away as usual to piggy back them up to our line.
Kyle Wood and Dean Widders seemed to have good games, and also Wainwright who got the home man of the match. How did everyone else fare?
Oh well two points it is, which considering Crusaders got a good win against the Bulls it was what we needed. We need to kick on a hell of a lot if we're going to beat Salford on Sunday, they're full of confidence and playing very well recently
Lets hope Shenny is ok too.

| Good win for the boys, back to back wins maybe . . . . . ? Hats off to Catalans who dug in deep, I know lots of us have slated fitness levels but we looked like a side full of blokes who have played 2 games in almost as many days!! Fingers crossed that we can now push on and hopefully build for next season!!

Maybe it's time for Matterson to go.
Get someone in that can motivate the team, inject some spark, improve defence and definitely improve discipline

46042.jpg [quote="Bonzo":23qz4bj5]Corrected.
Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.
HTH.

Pretty poor. Like you said, Wood and Wainwright played well. I guess it says a lot when out best 2 players are ex Batley players. Widders had a good 1st half. I thought Arundal was good too.
Either Higgins has a very over active thyroid or he is just fat! Our pack in general had no go forward, I bet Wainwright made more yards than Higgins and Sarge put together.
One thing that I couldn't understand though was why Wood was playing in the middle of the defensive line when he was at hooker. He is the smallest guy on the pitch so what do we do, give the biggest pack in super league a target to run at. Genius! What's the point in having someone quick off the mark with a bit of creative flair if all their energy is used up in defence.
We have 12 points now, 6 of which have come from beating Catalan. If we play like that (except Wainwright who was MOM by a mile) this might be the last win we get this season.

| It was a terrible game and we've endured more than our fair share of those this season. Just about any other team in the league would've put Catalans to the sword before half-time last night but our usual combination of giving away stupid penalties; poor defence; and complete lack of enthusiasm held true.
There was one 30-second stint where we played with some pride and that was when Arundel took a quick 20m restart. The ensuing momentum saw us cover the remaining 80m over the next 4 tackles with Wainwright scoring at the end of the set. It really was that easy. We didn't do it again.
A win's a win but god help us on Sunday if we don't improve.

| I missed last nights game at the last minute as the babysitter who was going to look after my 2 year old daughter who was unable to look after her, normally i would have been absolutely gutted, but i wasn't, i watched the Brazil match and listened to the commentary on the Radio.
I completely agree that the club is stagnating, things need to change, im sure there are many people out there like me who have lost the love for Cas Tigers, i dont want this to happen but i cannot change how i feel, i want to enjoy the buzz again, but its just not happening at the moment, even when we win. Something is seriously wrong down the lane.

I feel the same, i will have to think long & hard about having another season ticket next year (which i think will be our last in super league for a while).
Discounts on Nandos,Subway or the club shop mean nothing to me when the club is run like it is at boardroom & coaching level

| I was impressed (again) with Arundel. He'll make a great SL player for the likes of Bradford etc.
