| He has a record for moving on, when he took the job he must have known the financial position the club was in, then he want an open check to finance the multitude of changes he wants

| SF as asked for changes to be made - the BOD have refused these changes. I'm intrigued to find out what he was asking for. I think it is along the lines of a mixture of the following:-
1. Ground redevelopment
2. New investors
3. New Management team

Although you seem to have malfunctioning BOD I don't think SF resigning can all be put down to them.
SF is a good bloke but he is also very ambitious for himself rather than the specific club he's at. He wants the chance to run his own SL club without interference but with financial backing, who that club is isn't overly important. This is not a bad thing as emotion is no great friend to an administrator. The problem is Steve comes to the table with no real cash of his own. What he wants is to spend other peoples money without having them question him. I think if this were to happen Steve would probably succeed - however in the real world people with serious money tend to want to be totally involved in how it's used.
So unless this incredibly trusting individual exists which I doubt Steve will always be the firefighter who turns clubs around but is never the one to lead them to the promised land. It's sad but true because it happened twice at Wakefield.
Best of luck to both parties.

| Maybe we should have insisted he invest as a shareholder before giving him the job in the first place ?

Potentially a fair assessment. I'd read about SF having itchy feet on the Wakey board as he joined but I didn't expect him to go so soon. The disappointing thing is, him & Foz were making progress steadily. There was a genuine feel good factor about the place going into the new season. Everyone knows it isn't an easy job and will take time, Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.

This makes abundant sense. Steve's a good man but probably a frustrated one.
He worked alongside Gary Hetherington for long enough at Sheffield and probably thinks he has the know-how to replicate what he's done at Leeds if only he is given the chance. But, as stated, he comes with little or no capital so it's always going to be a problem, sadly.

| He gave his reasons for leaving, the club could not afford to fund the multiples of changes he wants to make. He wont be out of work for long, some one who can afford to pay for his dreams will set him on.
if you take on a job with a team who you know has no money, why ask for a blank check

| As a Bradford fan i have to say that i was impressed massively by your performance against as last weekend. the score line didn't reflect the performance in the end. I hope that you can resolve what ever off field problems that you may be experiencing as you have a great club with great fans and deserve to be successful.
