Hudson has said in yorkshire evening post today that Snitch is injured......hope this is not true or there could be a 100 next to huddersfield.

I aint looking forward to this game, after our hammering on monday and with more players out injured, it certainly doesnt look good, danny brough will kill us.

I think everyone is fearing the worst on friday but I think a decent following could lift the team and after the uncomfortable atmosphere at home to saints it my be kind of a relief to be the away team and if we can make a bit of noise and get behind them and not get on their backs we could see an improvment from the displays of late.
On the other hand we could send 100000 fans to hudds and still get thrashed because we're just not good enough at the moment. From one to seventeen Huddersfield are class and power and a full strength Cas side would need a little bit extra to match them and get the win never mind what we have at the moment. I would hate to show up just to be embarrassed but I also want to show some support for the lads.

I'm not going because another day's leave and overnight stay isn't really on the cards at this time of year. It'll be the first televised game of the season I've not been at in the flesh.. I promise not to record it either. I've been at and recorded every other televised game, and we've lost each one. So that should mean a win if sporting superstitions are anything to go by …

rangi and joe westerman have been dropped

I hear Rangi and Joe have been suspended. Heavy drinking sessions over easter, allegedly.

They were both out on Tuesday i saw them.

Im glad if true. As much as we will miss them, its a marker down to the rest of the players that drinking through the week a few days before a game is not right.

I remember reading all the doom and gloom merchants on the Salford site last week and look what happened. You have 5 ex Giants players, I think. What better motivation will they need than to prove we were wrong to let them go. If they raise their game only twice this season, it will be against us. So I expect a tough game. Generally speaking I am positive person but with Chase Westerman Sherwin Evans Widders Owen Ferres Snitch all out for various reasons, I see nothing but a hefty defeat coming our way.
