We sold Westerman for £175k. Now let's compare those two players.
He's on a 4-year deal. Had he got 2 years left, I'd possibly agree. But he's contracted for another four seasons, he is Cas's BEST player and our biggest marketing pull. We are under no reason to sell him and we are in a position to build a quality side around him. Cas will not sell him for less than £500k. |

I think your right in your valuation but people dont go for that sort of money in rugby league .
for half a mill you could get tge best player in the work imo.
Whats the transfer record in rugby league ? I havent a clue |

There's 2 scrum halves there. Robson can play Stand Off but he can also play hooker, Jamie Ellis is a scrum half.
Chase is staying, the only players leaving are the ones out of contract.
If Robson & Ellis are signed, Ellis will be a backup - you need depth to compete. |

He always gets a few mentions does Sam Barlow, I've not seen him since SKY stopped showing the championship games but I thought he looked a handful.
That said I thought Tony Tonks did too, and that hasn't been a sparkling success has it? Maybe Shudds is the wrong club for him? |
