Reading that again makes me sound like a right.....yeh anyway well done mate...you deserved it...your fans are class...remind me of cas fans a couple of years ago...good luck for the rest of the season and at least say hi when you pass us on the way into super league  |

That you did.
Like in the season you got relegated.
You have won your GF this season.
But the fan fare after that game was OTT.
The reality of what Cas can or cannot achieve is becoming clear. Salford's and Quins' form is slightly improving. The Crusaders have 'solid' written all over them. So the chance of scrapping at the bottom is odds on with the bookies at the minute.
You recent run of defeats and form back this up.
With off the field incidents not helping you are in a hole at the moment. I think every team in SL would want to play Cas right now.
But don't write this off as trolling. They are all vaild comments.
On the plus side you have talent in that team.
Leeds were on a dismal run but are slowly turning it round with results and performance. So it can be done.
But full credit to Barrow. The romance of the cup lives on and they have a nice tie which they deserve. Barrow deserve the credit of knocking out a SL team regardless of how poor that team was.

Of course it can and we have achieved that plenty of times in the past, yet in your previous post you said

Obviously we're not privvy to what's going on in the background and whilst the vibes aren't good, the hope is that extra effort is being diverted into the stadium development. |

We have a small squad which does not help in the slightest unlike your Leeds team who have a big squad. |

Our squad depth is a major issue and is costing us massively at the moment. We were relatively lucky with injuries last season but it's been quite the opposite this time around. Being out of the cup may be a blessing in disguise as we have a chance to rest players and get a few back. A decent run of form through June, July and August could put us in with a shot of the top 8, and weather conditions characteristic of those months have been advantageous to our squad and style of play in past.
With regards to the license application, the stadium and on-field performances would seem to be our only downfall at the moment as the club have made progress in all other areas off the field. The stadium is key though, and if the club's efforts behind the scenes are focussed there at the moment that's fine. However many fans are disgruntled by a lack of evidence to suggest that progress is being made. |
