But because our ground isn't segregated they had the option to move undercover. Which the large percentage of them did.

| TBH the price would probably have kept me away anyway (I've not got a spare £40 this close to pay day, never mind more for petrol, food, drinks etc). But the overriding problem for me is Friday f**king night...
I'm working on the assumption that clubs who schedule games for Friday nights simply don't want away supporters to attend.

the original sandy, no aussie imitation!: |
|
| not our fault, it was scheduled on a friday due to hull city v man utd being on sunday contractually for sky. Our local police authority will not allow 2 large events in the city on the same day probably due to them having to pay out overtime!

The game was originally scheduled for Sunday.

I don't really give a stuff who's fault it is mate, I'm just introducing a new variable to the debate (other than price and golf stands). Just for info though, what's up with Saturday?
ATEOTD, a club's perfectly entitled to stage a game whenever it sees fit (in consultation with relevant authorities, of course). But away fans are also perfectly entitled to say "balls to that" when considering the prospect of finishing work, having to run around like a blue-ar*ed fly, wolf the tea down, get changed, get in the car, get on the motorway and still not be guaranteed to make it for kick off.
It's a no brainer for me - I live so far away I couldn't make it if even I had a Eurofighter jet - but pretty much anywhere to East Hull is a big enough bind when you've only just finished work. Friday nights are for chilling out and shaking off the working week, not for tear-ar*ing around all over the place.

We at Hul K.R NEVER let the ground, stand, food, hospitality come into the reckoning, we are there to support Hull K.R and if that be from a cr@p hole of a stand like at Saints, Cas or Wakey the so be it, the price too is totally irrelevant, because if its twenty at say... Wigan and twenty two at Wakey thats not important enough to have us miss our team.
Ask yourself a question, if the importance you place on facilities is as pressing as you are making out, how the hell do you go to home games?
We have had two and a half yean the S.L and have improved our ground beyond belief, what was the last thing your club did to improve your place? for home or away supporters?'"

| Oops! sorry about that!
As I stated in my earlier post we do attend EVERY match as true supporters; the only one that we boycott in the whole season is
hull kr away, and will continue to do so until until there is proof that standards and treatment of away fans are vastly improved. I agree many super league grounds could make the away fans experience better, but my experience at Craven park was abysmal and totally unacceptable. I would'nt go even if tickets were free!!!
Nothing against kr supporters or players; really enjoy our home games with them.

It is not just the £20 entry as I was unaware of this, but I refuse to be treated like a 3rd class citizen simply because I am an away fan! I will not elaborate on this because we all know about their pathetic hospitality. My only wonder is that they get any away fans, particularly when away fans are allowed a free run at the jungle and can stand or sit anywhere!(except maybe in the diggerland jcb bucket!!!) It amazes me that they are allowed to take over the Princess street stand when they play us and call for all the forward passes etc, prime position just as they are at home. Will we ever learn!
My apologies to our boys, hope they manage a win without us!!!
Coming from a fan of a club that plays in a $hithole, thats rich

And for away fans your is what exactly?. Just 1 stinking bog which you have to queue to use. If its raining you run the risk of breaking a limb on the slippery stairs. Oh and the catering is pure quality, must be the best in sl With the exception of FC, Wigin, Quins and Wires they are all holes for away fans. Its just that some fans sit in their stands and forget that when we go to their ground we stand in the rain.

Considering the Jungle is twice the ground Caravan park is, I'd say he has a valid point.
You can roam into just about any stand you want and be under cover in 3 of 4 stands, you don't get treat like second class citizens by the stewards just for being an away fan like at Caravan, and it has 4 stands that are close to the pitch so you can actually see the game.
How the dump of a ground KR play at gets ignored when people go on about the old grounds is beyond me, It's honestly worse then Belle Vue.
