| Quote: marshman "[iOpinion[/i Vasty? In the opinion of some people, the Cas squad is better than Wakeys on paper. I'm guessing you have a different opinion? If i was to have another guess, i'd say both sets of fans see their respective squads better than the other. It's just opinion, we all need to learn to deal with this, imo.
Maybe i'm just getting tired of the whole RLfans thing, but i'm getting bored of crappy squabbles over comments made when people are just saying what they feel and how they see it. No one is correct about anything unless they quote facts and since we usually just see people talking about what they think will happen, or who they thought played well etc it's all open to debate as oppossed to boring, tiresome "my dads bigger than yours" and that. (btw, this isn't aimed at you Vasty( this time
TBH I have no issue really with Cas fans thinking that though some form of explanation as to how they think that would be nice. It's more the media and general bandwagon jumpers.
I absolutely admit it's resntment on my part, I just don't understand why Cas always attract far more positive opinion than we do despite IMHO having a less balanced team and generally poorer results. In Wakefields case people seem to look for excuses as to why we are good, where is in your case they will go out on a limb to be positive.
It's not your fans, I expect them as all fans to be blinkered but the rest I don't get. Remember these are the pundits who placed us bottom, not just below you but Salford and Celtic, why on what reasoning.
Put simply there are over a dozen players at Trin who would walk into other SL teams and that's more than most clubs. So why dismis them in a Trin shirt.
Bitter- you bet, point too prove - you bt, but it would appear Im not the only one.

| I see what tha's saying lad. We tend to think the media are against us most of the time also but i've never really noticed what you say as to Wakey being worse thought of than Cas, but then i probably wouldn't notice would i being a Cas fan. Expecting Wakey to finish bottom though just proves that our media are on the whole, a bunch of rambling idiots who have no clue of the game, outside Leeds, Saints, Wigan. They seem to have the same opinion on the game as many of the Wigan fans for example, who often look at the game and judge everything on past achievements, rather than current performances, injuries etc. I've now started to read less and less rugby journolism and listen less to the likes of Stevo. Personally who gives a flying funk what some over excited pundit thinks of Cas and Wakeys chances this season if they're going to base their thinking on utter crap.
Edit- The only other thing i forgot to add. Don't be bitter at us for thinking we're better than you, just because nuggets in the RL world are clueless about the game. As rivals, when we're enjoying our season, we're going to think we're better than our inferior neighbours, that goes without saying. Be bitter towards us because we're your neighbours and we're going to get in the play offs and you're not. But don't be bitter at us because the media love classy Cas more than Wan*y Wakey.

TBH I couldn't bare that - it would be 2006 all over again and your probably due the spoils. Even if we won I wouldn't have the heart to lord it over you as I could really empathise with you on that one. Both sets of fans are well overdue some silverwear especially us, lets take it from Saints or Wigan as they already have plenty.
This is no Vasty love in with Cas - I love beating you but who needs that extra edge at Wembley. If either of us made it all the way we'd enjoy it no matter who we beat - if we lost at least it wouldn't be to our nearest and dearest - to much for either of us to face up to the next monday.
I don't need that much pressure
