think this is the first time at this stage of a superleague season i can remember been in a dilema regarding team selection. it all looks good. Come on the boys lets get a good start!!!!!!

...and how do you suggest he gets match fit if he doesn't play in a match ?!

I don't think he necessarily needs match practise but maybe a couple of weeks intense training whilst we're nearly at full strength would do serve him and the club well in the long run.

i'd play sherwin and chase at half backs then put faumuina at loose and push westy into second row

think sherwin could shine with a decent 6 next to him

id start with sherwin and try and get 40 minutes out of him to blow quins off the park.

He's only just got back into training about two weeks ago. You'd rather play him over someone who's been in training the entire off season?

I'd just about go with that but with what I've seen so far Widders would just miss out from a bench spot at the expense of Huby.

Concerning Sherwin. As has been noted, nothing gets you match fit like playing matches so if he is completely free from injury he should start and either play a couple of 20/25 minute spells or the whole of the first half and sit out the 2nd, possibly to come back on for the final 10/15 minutes if necessary (ie. if things are tight and we need his guile to shore things up).

There's plenty of flexibility in the side now so we shouldn't be so reliant on Sherwin being fit and on the park all the time, though it would no doubt be of benefit if he were!

You said he shouldn't play cos he wasn't match fit. He has to get match fit by playing some part in matches !!

For what it's worth, he wouldn't be in my starting 13 on Sunday.
