He is not as good as netherton who you loaned out......he could not make Batley starting 13 in halves or hooker so the club have probably written off the season and saved a packet on Sherwin's wages.....well done Richard Wright great work !

That's what I'm wondering as well.

Im prepaired to give the kid a chance. We all moaned when we took Tuson on,and his loan spell has been worked for him and the club.

Wood wont be starting,bench at best,guess its Chase scrum half,Mcgoldrick back at 6 and Thompson back at full back,then maybe giving Arundel another run on the wing?

The cicumstances and timing isn't perfect but if the money saved on Shifty's wages can be directed towards the glasshoughton development or on a suitable replacement next season i wont complain.

Kyle was excellent for Sheffield last season when we finished 3rd, he really ran the show for us and has been missed this season-good signing!

There was a lot of talk about Shirwin's, fitness, injuries, effort and pay, causing an in-ballance amongst other team members and a cause for dicsontent amongst the fans. If this young lad is fit, gives 100% everytime, has the ability to learn and hasn't cost us a fortune....surely that has got to be a step in the right direction.

So let's get behind him, support him and see what he can give to us in return!

I think peoples problem is, certainly my problem is we have let our only half back go and replaced him with a youngster with little or no SL experience. Would any other SL club do this? I have nothing against Kyle Wood, naturally I hope he plays a fantastically for us. But we have been terrible when it has come to the recruitment of playing staff this season. The club is simply not proffessional enough in its conduct.
