| I have never been "employed" by the club so have not left as you put it.
I do speak to people who are/have been and the general opinion is one of a club that has appointed incompetent people into key positions. I then see that many well respected coaches have left and young players who appear to have great potential are leaving too. I see certain players and chat , 1 in particular worked nearby and has recently joined another super league club. His account of things at cas would suggest he couldn't wait to get away from the person YOU mentioned above as most of the decent people are leaving/have left. (he did speak highly of thornton and his assistant burnett)
As for coaches that have left, your post is reminiscent of a jilted teenage girl after been dumped "i never loved you anyway-so there" !
All the coaches I refer to in my post have been very successful in their chosen area/age groups, particularly the guy from normy who played a key role in bringing current 1st team players to the club,he is now at another superleague club plying his trade, so some reality there for you. The lads from stanley have now been recruited by Paul sculthorpe to work in his coaching organisation which is also very successful , and 2 others have gained senior coaching roles in the championship ! but you suggest they aren't worthy of cas scholarship/youth set up. Maybe its your knowledge that should be in question here.
Looking over your virgin posts , welcome by the way , i have a fair idea that you are an employee of the club and indeed could even be one of Jim Hensons very own. I do hope that rw is happy for his staff to while away the hours posting and reacting to fans observations instead of working with the future stars of the club. Nice one .
maybe that time could be spent getting your scholarship manager some kind of coaching badge/qualification before the rfl/parents start asking questions.

| Dear misinformed if you read the post correctly I never stated that you had in fact been employed at Castleford Tigers, rather that you do appear to read like a disgruntled former employee, I suggest you read your own posts you may agree they could be read that way.
I also like the way you deflect your own criticism now onto others who you have spoken to which has given you a general opinion.
You state “All the coaches I refer to in my post have been very successful in their chosen area/age groups, particularly the guy from normy who played a key role in bringing current 1st team players to the club, he is now at another super league club plying his trade, so some reality there for you”. I applaud there success and what they have achieved at amateur level but let us have some perspective here as there are many successful coaches in the amateur game but I doubt that they would consider themselves successful having coached or coaching a scholarship, but if that is how you measure success so be it.
As for the two coaches going to Gateshead I merely offer an opinion opposite to your own and I feel that they like other Gateshead coaches before them will fail, I do hope that I am wrong.
As a lifelong supporter of Wakefield Trinity (old school) I resent that you would consider me to be an employee of our bitterest rivals.
Finally in relation to the coach from Normanton plying his trade at Wakefield it is noticeable that in 2009 the U18s won the academy championship, it would be fair to say that in 2010 the performances of the under 18s were not as good as the previous year. That would not be a coaching problem in your eyes rather a recruitment problem. Although a good coach once said good coaches cut there cloth to suit.
I feel like a fisherman and you took the bate.

| so you are a wildcat who happens to jump to the defence of the youth policies at cas -
"Dear misinformed, if you believe that the under 20s was a poor team then you need to look more closely, the youngest team in the competition and players been developed in the right way and yes they all have another one two or three years left in that competition"
you have an indepth knowledge of the clubs scholarship staff -despite ford not being announced yet !
"If you consider good coaches to be those amateur coaches that have left to be replaced by Lee crookes and James Ford that tells me then Castleford may just finally be getting it right"
and you dont really think you have to be successful to coach scholarship -
"I doubt that they would consider themselves successful having coached or coaching a scholarship"
sudden change in stance and indeed status in your latest post ,is it not. Wonder what brought that on ?
Maybe things getting a little close to home.
whos pulling the wool over whoms eyes now !

NO merely stating a fact because as we did ourselves castleford played a very young side in the under 20 comp as did Bradford and Warrington
you have an indepth knowledge of the clubs scholarship staff -despite ford not being announced yet !
Wrong common knowledge on the rugby fields of Wakefield and five towns
"If you consider good coaches to be those amateur coaches that have left to be replaced by Lee crookes and James Ford that tells me then Castleford may just finally be getting it right"
I wish Wakefield would follow castleford example
and you dont really think you have to be successful to coach scholarship -
Correct

I find your conclusion somewhat suprising in that unlike your posts which for me appear a little personal in nature, I merely state documented facts and offer an opinion on those facts. As an example I would point to the old DDA system and the fact that nearly all the coaches in that system where ex pros and believe me the standard then was much higher than it is now.

you have become quite random in your responses now ! too late to cover your tracks -sorry.
You state that certain things are common knowledge on the fields of Wakefield and 5 towns. How do you know when you only get to any games on your weekend off - usually 1 in 4 at best !!!!
anyway the point in question is not one of identities , but of the happenings within the cas youth structure. As a cas fan , I am disturbed by the things I hear each week at local games that's the reason i posted on this thread. players like dawson and coaches who have ability continue to leave cas , other clubs don't seem to go through them at the same rate. I fear we will lose more quality staff if things don't improve in this area.

he is a winger , not a half back .
back page of p&c today also says cas have let another 19 year old go ,conor condron. Another 1 bites the dust .

He's gone to Gateshead. Hardly a step up. Plus, being 19, I would imagine he'll be wanting first team action and would be very unlikely to get it at Cas. People have to move to develop their skills in a suitable environment in all walks of life and he'll have more opportunities to play at a higher level than our acadamy at Gateshead. Good luck to the lad.

Your trolling is poor.
I'd give it about a day before you're banned if you carry on in that vein.
