Mr Glover likes his prime time ads (as I'm sure most of you will know!), what do you think the chances Wrighty will be up for splitting the cost of another ad? I for one hope they do another ticket deal and really push for capacity crowds!

Lets get BV packed out like 2008 and show the RFL what they will be missing should they proceed with their desired outcome for franchise time.

Even the most die-hard Cas fan must in some way see the huge downside of one of the two of us not being in SL.
SL & RL in general need this derby! Let's show the nation why they call our region the "golden triangle" of RL.

Get your tickets and warm up your vocal chords. Whatever the outcome let's do OUR REGION proud.

i hope Cas and Wakey fans both get to the game and get behind the teams and not stay at home and watch on TV. This is our chance to show what well supported clubs we are

As we're splitting the gate we'd have to split the airtime cost for the ad too.

Unless you can throw AG a contract for the windows in your new ground or Goldy's "dog house" ceiling???

With it being on TV some Wakefield fans and some Cas fans will choose to sit at home. Why fork out when you've paid the licence fee for it?

And no, I don't think it's viable paying out for a TV ad. I don't know how Wakey have fared in terms of paying fans and costs paying out for the TV ads and whether it's made a profit or not.

However, expenses would be better by marketing in each respective town.

Don't really care about the crowd to be honest.

What matters to me the most is seeing Castleford progress through to the next round.

Fully old pal, we keep telling you this, we're a city!! There's only 1 town in this derby game icon_razz.gif icon_razz.gif

FWIW I think the adverts are all about raising the clubs profile and IMO they have worked. I do detect a slight undertone of jealousy though! icon_razz.gif icon_razz.gif

Not jealous at all. Credit to Wakefield for trying something new. TV adverts cost money, though; I don't know if it's been successful in getting the walk-up, profile or not. Attendances have risen slightly but judging by from the comments I saw earlier in the season, some of that could be attributed to new owners rather than a TV ad.

City/town, you got the gist, no difference except for a cathedral and population size. icon_wink.gif

Economic prosperity, employment ratio's, social class, good old fashioned good looks and intelligence- to add to your list! icon_razz.gif

Enjoy your week & don't rest too many players at the weekend in preparation for the big game!

I never had you down as an "armchair fan" Fully!!!

This is our chance to show off our (shared) region as the hub of RL it is. Get everyone down for this!

Don't fancy this at all, cup specialist Kear and all that.

For whatever reason I would have fancied just about any other SL club away more than this one - it is like when Leeds got Millwall in the play-offs t'other year!

Us by 20 or them by 6!
