| The LDF replaced the UDP. It was approved in April 2009 to the best of my knowledge.

Whatever it is - I don't know much about that mumbo jumbo. However, the land is not due to be reclassified until 2013. The fact it is going to be changed doesn't make a jot of difference. It is still greenfield/greenbelt, whatever it is called, and by that fact, it should go through the proper channels.

Newmarket will be reclassified under the LDF in 2013, maybe earlier, this has already been ratified by the SoS.
The classification of "greenbelt" land was only ever a temporary measure to eliminate/marginalize tipping and out traveling friends. FACT.
The land the stadium will sit on is not in question.
If our stadium bid had moved to J32 the development would still have gone ahead without the community facilities- it would just have sat dormant until the reclassification- how ironic for the protesters...
The council have given us the nod and I have no doubt that come September we will be given outline planning permission. The community trust members (as well as SWAG) have already said our full application is amended following the HA report and ready for submission as soon as we get outline permission.
Please Speedy use the loaf old fella.'"
Dont have to you Donkey, ive been involved with PP's for years and with PE's chuck, Why the hell would you put in for Outline planning if you are ready with the full planning submission, The reason for outline is to clear the way so you know what exactly has to be done for full, But if your ready with the full then you submit that

| Quote: chissitt " I just find it annoying when such as Marshy criticises Wakey fans for discussing it on here but finds it acceptable for Cas fans to discuss it on the Wakey board, '"
What Cas fans do on the Wakey board isn't up to me, nor is it a concern of mine. I [isometimes[/i post on the Wakey board and when i do it is with respect and iirc all my posts on the stadium issues on the wakey board have been in support of WTWC and their fans getting the stadium you all deserve.
Also, i have never criticised wakey fans for posting on here, i welcome debate and going back to my moderator days on here I would stick up for every fan of every club for the right to visit any board and that still stands. However, and you can read my post from earlier, i simply suggested that if people wish to discuss the stadium debate that they actually discuss facts and not twist them or rewrite them to suit their argument. Kind of what you did suggesting i don't want Wakey fans to post on here, but it's ok for Cas fans to post on the Wakey board. Which is obviously (to me anyway) something i never wrote. I'm guessing the bit you twisted/took the wrong way is from this quote?
Quote: chissitt "But ffs Wakey fans, don't come on here spouting blatant lies'"
That still stands, however i will apologise to the masses of Wakey fans if you took this as me saying "you are all not welcome here" (which i obviously did not write) when in actual fact, what is meant is "don't come on here spouting blatant lies" (which is obviously what i did write). As in, those who do post blatant lies can feck right off cos we can all do without it.
And lastly, i forgot to add, this isn't an invite for a personal slanging match between us. I'm really not fussed about any of that crap tbh. I'm off camping tomorrow for a few days so won't read replies anyway!

| Quote: Therailwayendisuponus. "I am sure Hull FC/KR fans would disagree if they both started to play out of the KC?'" That is a better comment than you know.
We (HKR) were offered to play at the KC when it was first being considered we said 'Its across town so no thanks, we will take our own chances ta'.
3/4 years later we get promoted and look at us now.
My point is that just because 1 club is disapointed doesnt mean it the end of the road for em they just need to work that little bit harder.

| This might have been discussed before, but why dont Wakefield Council just split the money? So, if they are offering to invest for example £4m in helping to finance a new (shared?) stadium, why not £2m to finance GH and £2m to finance NM?

Technically, they're not giving money out.
They offered a piece of land to each club to loan money against, with each piece of land yielding £2m. What you stated is effectively what they offered 9 months back - each club would have the land to loan against. They are now reneging on that offer and saying that unless each club groundshares they will take back both of those pieces of land and neither club will have the £2m.

Cas attended the meeting last thursday did they not, so the bit about wanting to know about the study does not make sense.
Having said that this whole sorry saga makes no sense.

Bull....the of.
FFS Vasty, get a grip. Did you actually bother to read the link? As has been metioned earlier, it isn't one man objecting. All concerned parties have a right of objection and LCC are a concerned party.
And of course, when you speak and say 'end of' that must be final then, eh? You really do have an overblown sense of your own importance.

The franchise process doesn't work on facilities alone and the RFL would be wise to remember that.
