This is exactly what has happened. JF is owed 2million, RW is owed 90k. Steve Ferres and Foz found a potential sponsor to the tune of 750k.SF explained to the board the sponsor would only part with the cash if it is to be used on developing the ground, signing players etc. They wouldn't part with the cash if the two directors were simply going to take the cash out. SF explained they could take the money out in time when the club was in a better place to do so. JF and RW weren't happy to do this. The rest we know. Don't ask me to name my source as I can't. But I can assure you this is correct. I don't blame either of them for leaving.

I heard the reason for SF leaving was his request for 100K was turned down. This 100K was for improving facilities ie toilets, bars and turnstiles. The BOD refused this telling him he had to work to the original budget he was given.

One thing for certain is we have dodged a bullet by not partnering with Eric France Metals. Wakey are 100K down on sponsorship money for this season and are now looking for a replacement sponsor. And we thought Probiz was dodgy.

I find it funny when looking back at various posters on your forum when our deal with Probiz went belly-up. What comes around eh.

Look on the bright side - we went a full year without any sponsorship money. Wakey have a chance to get a new sponsor in now. Shame about the shirts been messed up though.

If this is true then all we need is for the potential sponsor to be named and it will all come out into the open. Its what the fans deserve at least.

If this is true, it is disgaceful behaviour by JF and RW. Expecting the CEO and Commercial Manager to attract sponsors to the club in order to line their own pockets at this moment in time.

But , we will never know if it's true unless, as Tigerade says, the potential / lost sponsor blows the whistle on this bunch.
