Interesting, I didn't think any tackle on a player without the ball was fair, regardless of where the contact was?

| Regardless of where it start, if it hits the face and results in someone having to be taken off for treatment, it should be a ban.
Was at the game, thought it was bad. Saw the big screen highlights, thought it was bad. Image still shows me it's bad.
People were bagging Chase for the same last week. I expect the same level of hysteria and slagging off that Chase received.

He was already committed to the tackle and didn't have time to pull out.

| Quote Adeybull="Adeybull"Is it allowed to discus the game itself? And to comment that the score flattered us, and we came close several times to blowing it when it was in the balance? We were the better side...not by a country mile though, and I suspect had Chase been playing and given our own weakness in the halves, we would quite likely have been looking at a rather different result.'"
Disagree. Bulls were better defensively and the forwards made more yards. Once we went in 12-6 down playing with the slope I knew we were on to a loser.

| Quote nottinghamtiger="nottinghamtiger"I actually thought you were signifantly better, the play-the-ball was much faster and caused us problems all game. I think it is down to this that the Cas players lost their discipline, they could not cope with the speed of Bradford in posession.

We were quicker at the ptb, and some of our offloads and kicks were pretty good. And our pack finally got on top. So I can see where you are coming from. And I never thought I'd see the day when Bulls were becoming known for their speed, must admit!
But that all comes to nothing if you can't turn that into points near the line, or make panicky decisions when a cool head and some patience would serve better. We got away with it today, since you didn't punish us for it, but we need to improve a fair bit in this department, IMO as we saw last week at Hull. I suspect our head coach will not be as happy as you might expect he would be - be interested to see what he has to say, though.
And sorry, on reflection that maybe reads as if I'm suggesting you weren't that hot. Not my intent - and you were far, far better than woeful Wakey two weeks ago. Until aboput 60 mins I was worried you would get back on top. Maybe I'm still surprised that we have a team to follow, and one that is perhaps doing better than many expected?

| Given that our pack were 2nd best in the middle of the pitch i'd bring Emmitt & Fleming for next week.
How long is Mason out for?

| I thought you were really good today, seemed to have seem real grunt and fight, and the physicality of all teams seems to have increased this year.
Although the best team won on the day, I was really impressed by Cas, and I wouldn't fancy facing Webster and Carney on a dry pitch. Both massive men, and Carney had some pace when he got in open space.
Apart from the top four clubs (I'm not sure I include Saints in that), I don't think there is much between an awful lot of teams.

| Great to see Cas give it all in their cup final one week and get flogged by an average Bulls team the next! Still a disgrace.

| If I was a Cas fan, I'd be questioning the players fitness.
At about the 55 minute mark most of the Cas team looked out on their feet. There was a point where Cas were in possession at that time and half the side were still walking back from behind the Bulls defence for 2 tackles.
