As I said - it's all rather pathetic.

Indeed, just like the hyper-modern Wheldon Road!
ATEOTD - if the club are prepared to spend 500k on improvements that won't even be relevant in 2 years, all that says to me is that the Newmarket scheme must be nailed on.

Strange that. To me it says the total opposite. If WTW are so confident that NM will be passed you will be building next year won't you ? After all its fully-funded by Yorkcourt - you get the green light in January and off you go. I can't remember Salford or Saints spending half a million in ground inprovements recently. Its your plan B and get out of jail card now that Oakwell is off the radar - but will the RFL accept it ?

Factually incorrect I'm afraid and no matter how many times you or bigalf say it, doesn't make it true.
Once again then, for the hard of thinking:
The improvements to BV were in our SL application because our new owner is prepared to admit that whilst NM looks positive, it will take time; the improvements to BV were designed to appease the RFL in the short to medium term and the 500k is considered to be an acceptable opportunity cost for 3 years in SL and all the revenue that brings with it.
As for the idiot above - it may seem unjust, but the company that Mr Glover owns does not owe anything to any small business; despite that, he chose to honour a significant number of the debts that were incurred by the previous organisation.

At the insistance of AG, many of TRs debts were settled, thats why many of the debtees are continuing their associations with the club and we are successfully building more associations with other businesses on a regular basis.
There is no doubt that under TR the club was run appallingly, but things have changed, and to constantly hark back to those days as your only one and only point makes you look, a bit fik!!!

Or on the other hand, it shows the rfl that AG means business and he is prepared to invest, because its his cash thats paying for the additional short term work at BV.
Oakwell, if it is still on the radar, will be plan C at best now, its good to have plans, it shows that you're prepared.
What plans other than GH do cas have? because it is by no stretch of the imagination a 100% certainty, no matter what BigAlf tells you.

Although a nice romantic thought,i dont recall the franchise application promising to repay debts that were accrued by the previous regime.
I dont see Cas hurrying to settle the outsanding ccjs set against them.Although by the looks of latest accounts(350k loss and business held up by revaluation reserve)im not surprised.

| Quote: bren2k "It doesn't get much more bitter and twisted than that folks!
The old regime was the old regime and AG is clearly trying to put fresh air between them and him by delivering on his promises - are you suggesting that WTW should remain forever damned for its past actions, or failures to act?
As for the second part of your daft post - yes, I certainly do think that the improvements that were promised in the franchise application and that will subsequently be carried out in January 2012 will equate to exactly the improvements that weren't just implied, but were outlined in detail.
Is there a particular reason that some of you seem determined to talk down these modest but important improvements to BV?'"
Disregarding para 1 as amateur psychology at it's most cliched and moving on to your remaining 'points'; 1. you rightly talk about Wakey not being forever damned for past actions but administration was only a few short months ago so why wouldn't I be irritated by suggestions that keeping promises is now some kind of WTW speciality. 2. maybe you have correctly interpreted the plans for the Doncaster Rd end but plenty of your fellow supporters were hyper ventilating about the prospects of new and completely enclosed terracing which would represent genuine, rather than 'technical', improvements.

| I hate the off season, drivel like this peppering boards. I dont care if Wakey build a roof, I dont care if they mount the floodlights on a totem pole, I dont even care if they thatch the celebrity squares.
I don't care if pettitions have mickey mouse as a signature on them and I care even less if Rangi Chase can get another visa to sign for someone else or not, becuase he and a raft of other juniors are on long term contracts.
Roll on February when we can measure progress in league points again instead of who can pee highest up a wall and pub hearsay.

Would you pay someone elses debts for them??
Maybe you should pass your advise on to your BOD and they can crack on settling their outstanding county court judgements.

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

Just because a CCJ is recorded, it does not mean that it has not been settled.
For all you or I know the small amounts you refer to may well have been settled.

What Mdean said - and also to add that as a Cas fan I cringe every time I see a post from neverdid, how you have not been banned from posting on this forum I will never know.
Forums are, by their definition for discussing, neverdid is incapable of anything other than insulting, tbh, you are an extremely bad advert for Cas fans in general.

No,you are quite correct, admin errors can occur and the public information may not be correct.
However it would be extremely rare for 3 ccjs recorded against a company and showing as unsatisfied to be all errors.
Any self respecting company would ensure that if they were errors they would get them rectified and public records ammended to show satisfaction of the ccjs.
The burden of proof is on the company to show they are satisfied, otherwise it is accepted(within the banking industry) they are not satisfied.
