Quote Cecil B="Cecil B"In the same way they're delaying announcing the 2 yr extension to Rangi Chase contract...'"
Would that have anything to do with the result of his trial? A guilty verdict would make it hard to successfully obtain a new visa (which an extension would necessitate), especially with more news of "wanting to further reduce migrant/migrant worker visas".
If you had an agreement in place as you say CT must have been in contact with the gov.
Let's just imagine that you had, and say the verdict was negative and you were told you wouldn't be able to obtain a new one: Would you A) Keep the information to yourselves, keep playing him for the rest of his contract and let him go as a cult hero. Or B) Sell him ASAP- the nearer to the end of his current contract he is the less he's worth.
All of which is hypothetical but I hope you all remember Leo-Latu & his ill fated move to SR.
In all honesty I hope RC stays in SL for the rest of his career, an undeniable talent and an asset to the competition.
