| Could a Hudds official not have got his foot down to get some more gear? 10 mile round trip, isn't it?
Even if it meant they had to change over at the 1st available stoppage or even half time.

Couldn't they have done that when the players went out to warm up in white?
How long did it take Hilda to come down, get the key open and sort the kit out. An Hudds official could have been back towards Hudds by the time all that had happened.

True. I'm Guessing Hudds response will have been it's not our fault, we're staying as we are.
Somebody owes the old dear a big bag of Werthers Originals, be interesting to see if that's Huddersfield, Cas or the RFL.

| Clearly Hudds should have told Cas if they were planning to wear their white kit, so Cas could have come in their home strip.
Administrative cock up by Hudds that made the game a laughing stock on Sky.

| The official directive from the RFL states that Huddersfield are down to play in their Principal kit.
Huddersfield fans are saying they have been instructed by the RFL to play in white due to Sky coverage.
If true, then somewhere, someone has not told Cas this information or Cas have made a boo-boo.
All three parties have some responsibility. However, Huddersfield being the home team it seems stupid them playing in their alternative kit. If they can't play in Sky in their home kit like some of the excuses their fans are coming up with, they should be made to change their home kit so it IS suitable for Sky TV. Simple!

Quote: "The RFL will provide kit directives detailing which kit each team and the match officials shall
wear at each Match (other than rounds of the Challenge Cup prior to Round 4) and each Club
shall comply with such directives. In general the home team will wear its principle kit and the
away team shall be directed to wear the kit which best distinguishes the two teams. In both
cases this may include the RFL directing that alternative shorts and or socks are worn. Where
otherwise unavoidable a home team may be instructed to wear its alternative kit at home.'"
Quote: "Notwithstanding the provisions of B1.24, where the Colours of the visiting Club clash with that
of the home Club (and the Match Commissioner shall be the final arbiter of this), the visiting
Club must change into such alternative strip or parts of strip as the Match Commissioner may
direct. To ensure that this Rule can be complied with the visiting Club must bring two different
sets of strip to the Match.'"

By the RFL's own rules, Hudds should have wear their home kit as it wouldn't have clashed with Cas.
Cas are at fault for not bringing their 2nd kit.

| I would have made both teams play in the kit they brought with them. Fair for boths teams that way.

Not as easy as that as I've said.
The facts will come out. The rules state as I've posted that the home team should wear their home kit.

Wrong, try reading through the RFL website. It was a home game for the giants and they were down to play in the home strip. We didn't need to bring 2 kits at all and I don't think any team does this, they know in advance that if they clash or not.
