jordan is more than big enough to give one of the back rowers a spell infact before the season started the talk was of jordan making a back rower the ways he`s bulked up and grown.even a 10 minute spell would have been 10 minutes rest for somebody else.

We didn't take our chances when they came, we should have gone in with 2 more try's on the board.
The early conversion miss and those 2 tries should have put us in the sheds at 22-10.
We lost Brett early on, so we were always going to be blowing. I rather think we lost today; Hull KR dodged a bullet.

As for the last try- if is it against you it's a blatant knock on, but I always look at what I would expect if one of our players scored it - I would expect it to be given.

Some dodgy decisions but if we had taken our chances, we would have won - Simples.

So, so, so frustrating. It was just the same as last year at home on so many occasions. We start great, get a nice little lead and just when you think we might grab the game by the scruff of the neck...SELF DESTRUCTION.

We lose these games due to dumb play (kicking out on the full, not kicking on the last tackle), careless mistakes (how many handling errors) and not having the required intensity/concentration in defence for large periods of the game.

The reffing frustrates me but they're all as bad and it seems to happen across the board. That's just the standard and unfortunately there's no one better about!

It's tiring being a Cas fan, I'm constantly exhausted after these home games on sky. Why was I born into this!?!?!?!?!?!

You made some bad errors tonight but aside from that i thought nearly every video ref decision went against you and cost you the game.
apart from the ones already mentioned imo Ainscough did ground that ball on the line before it bounced out.

Regardless of the mistakes we deserved it tonight.

As for the officials, action is needed to improve the standards before loyal supporters walk away from the game.

I for one wont go to anymore rugby league events sent to me by Red Hall until Cummings is removed from his job.

I am a Rovers fan so I wouldn't want to come on here and be negative about Cas in any way.

That's because I LOVE the atmosphere at Wheldon Road and for me this is the best away fixture all year.

Win lose draw, Cas is a great place to visit IMO.

What a superb place to watch Rugby League.

Facilities? Give over!

Home fans love it, away fans love it. What's the problem?

Actually the only problem is with people who will never visit anyway.

As for tonight yes I will admit we had the rub of it. Obviously I am pleased about that and obviously you will not be. That's how it goes.

But in the bigger picture it's just another game. Rugby League is a small sport really. Castleford is one of it's great and recognisable names and may I say, so is Hull Kingston Rovers.

Can you believe that not too long ago this small sport was ready to let these wonderful brand names perish?

I wish you well in your quest to move to a new stadium. Obviously that would be good for you and your club. But me I will not mind in the slightest if you remain at Wheldon Road/The Jungle. What a fantastic Rugby League venue! (For the people who actually pay to watch!).

Serious question; if they were that bent against us then why would they have given us a franchise in the first place?

I'm all for "you win some, you lose some, get over it", but to be honest I'm at a loss to think of any Super League game Cas have ever won by means of a totally wrong decision inside the last ten minutes. Maybe someone can jog my memory?

When a player loses a ball forward and fails to regain FULL control, it's a knock on. A vague possibility of a finger end or the brush of an arm does not and never will constitute full control, therefore it was a knock on. The "try" simply could not have stood if the rules had been applied. Why Ganson chose not to apply them just beggars belief.

It's fine to say that if Shifty hadn't kicked out on the full, if we'd finished our chances... but if my uncle had t**s he'd be my auntie. The talking point here isn't about sour grapes or Cas knocking on on the 5th or Mattterson's selection - those things are smokescreens. The real talking point is a blatant disregard for the rules of the game by a so called senior referee despite him having the benefit of full video pause, rewind and replay to assist with his decision. The only answers I can come up with are he's either incompetent, or he wilfully and deliberately decided to put Cas behind the eight ball with just minutes to go.

You decide!

there is an agenda to keep certain teams and dump the rest in favour of some far away town that just dont care about league, we, along with salford and wakey are in the group that will be dumped sooner or later, hence the disgusting performances of the bent ham and especially ganson. we at cas have to get used to the fact we are not wanted in sooper dooper league.
wakey are making the leagues decision to dump them hardb this time, we are playing into the leagues hands with our (non) close season recruitment and the endless smokescreen surroundind the new stadium (which will imo bankrupt the club) .
time to jump into the lower leagues as a financially stable club or hang in this travesty of a league and risk bankruptcy or worse ... merger with those scruffs at belle view

As a kind-of-neutral (FC fan) I enjoyed (most of) the game but thought that Cas were denied a deserved victory as a result of the worst video referee decision I've ever seen. And trust me, as a Hull fan, I've seen some shockers.

The game was nip and tuck. After ten minutes I thought Cas were going to run away with it. Credit to Rovers, 10-12 at h.t. was a good claw back.

Both sides suffered as a result of poor decisions. However, IMHO, Cas deserved the victory. How on earth Watts' try was given will forever be a mystery.

Hard lines Cas. Still my second favourite team icon_wink.gif
